  4. No more than 45 hp, give that puppy a good P&P job to wake it up. also wiseco pistons.
  5. My head is .40.. Only problem I have is spark plugs not lasting to long. They dont foul but short due to compression. I use NGK but i am going to try a different brand.
  6. I have .40 on mine, only good for a few hrs of hard riding then will short out the plugs. i going to try a diff brand of plug, maybe it will help.i use race gas and jetting looks good.
  7. If you can afford one, a inverter welder 200 amp is a very stable arc to learn on. It only weights 21lbs and is 100 percent duty cycle at 120 amps and 60 percent at 200 amps.It also can be used as G.T.A.W. or tig torch. chicago electric.I paid 499 on sale.
  8. right, thought i was responding to the question about the broken off drill bit, i should have read more throughly.
  9. the way to magnatize a custom piece of metal is simply to wrap as many coils of insulated wire as you can around it tightly, then momentarly ground out to each battery termal, i maybe 2 times. just spark it. that piece of metal will now be magnatized.
  10. what would happen if you used air pressure to blow from the filler, might move it closer to the drain hole.
  11. if you do lots of jumping, .125 should work nice. [you can go .110but is it worth the risk.]
  12. I was told that just with the star no bumping,but if you mod the shift shaft with the star that could happen
  13. you need to run at least 50/50..but full race is better, runs cooler also.
  14. I have stock carbs, but with the mods i was able to go from 200 mains to 320 mains, i can ride the dunes about 35 mi on less than 1/2 tank of race fuel.
  15. oh, i see. i'm not famaliar with pwk. How do the 155's stack up with the fuel flow of the mikinuni 320's?
  16. do yourself a favor and get a good p&p + compression, it will outrun any semi stockers...
  17. 155 mains and your running rich, wow. i run 320 mains and its just right at sea level.

  19. I would be wondering why the 450 is getting you. I raced 1 said he had never been beat. I carry 100 lbs more than him. didnt have any problems beating him. sand drag 10 paddle 6lb air in rear.
  20. I have the 8 paddle haulers. works great for dunes. if i race i take off in 2nd gear.
  21. seemed to smooth out my powerband,still pulls strong.
  22. i ordered a plug cleaner today, however if the pug is shorted out cleaning wont do any good.

  24. yes for sure, ask the locals about the direction of the wind and drop offs, sand changes all the time with the wind. if your not famaliar with the area you might try to partner up with someone who is famaliar with the area. 175,000 people a yr go to the emergency room due to atv accidents. good luck and have fun..
  25. okay, thnx. i will use the standard plug and change more often. i bought 4 this morn, took it out to the sand lot to practice launches, seemed to run fine again. i got these plugs at napa.
