I was going to make this a poll but there are to many out there I've never heard of.

I'm polishing ALL my aluminum with buffing wheels and compund. It's all been polished before so I'm starting with the white compound, then, with a differant wheel, the red jewlers rouge. It looks KICK ASS but now I need a VERY GOOD, VERY NON-ABRASIVE hand polish to finish it off and help seal the aluminum. What should I buy???

I use Mother's "Incredible Billit" this stuff is very impressive. You could take a shitty old penny out of your pocket and make it shine better than a brand new one with it. I haven't tried any other brands though...Mothers is some damn good sh!t IMO.

I totally agree...that's all I use for my billet accessories. I've tried the other brand stuff and it doesn't compare to the shine you'll get from the Mothers billet polish. It's perfect for what you want to use it for....

Yeah, its worth it. A little bit goes a long way. I've actually experimented with the regular mother's aluminum polish I had left over. You can rub the shit out of, lets say a wheel, it looks pretty damn nice. Then do one side of that same wheel with the Incredible Billit, and WOW, It's a difference you can see for yourself. Oh, and while you're at it you can pick that shit out of your teeth with your new found mirror. :D J/K :rotflmao:

Magic mix and mothers billet when I run out of the magic. Both hands down the best maintenance polishes I've ever used. The magic has an advantage as it is easier to use and also protects and seals your aluminum and you have way less oxidation and a longer shine. That stuff has saved me tons of work. Aluminum will generally get the whitish hue look after just a few months and sooner with frequent washes. The magic mix will maintain a shine as if just polished for over a year.

If you can get your hands on a product called white diamonds it is better than mothers imo and twice the shine. It will make it look like a mirror when done.

I agree totally.....WHITE DIAMONDS is the $hit!! Little pricey but by far the BEST!!

i know most people wont really go out and change there favorite polish , but my dad has been into motorcycles since the late 50's and he showed me his secret collection of polish..... Moreover he showed me the polish when i was trying to lightly polish the top half of my case . I applied a dime size amount and wire brushed it into the case then wet sanded with 1200 wet paper ...... It is a GREAT hand polish and i use it on my shearers aswell ! . It will make the engine case nearly chrome like ( with minimal work ). Honestly give this shit a try and i garunteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you will not be dissapointed. Its called " Simichrome " search for it on ebay , its imported from germany if i am not mistaken. makes neverdull look like water'd down cat piss . I promise

edit : works on alot of differnt metals including chrome .
