Meat Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 They've been racing it in the XC nationals this season with mixed results. Matt Smiley is racing on one and is having the worst season start of his career. He rode an Outlaw for the first two races and didnt do very well, so the last he switched back to his Preditor and did slightly better. Johnny Gallager SR is racing one and winning every GNCC with his, but Johnny Sr is racing the Vet class and Johnny Sr has been dominating that class for years now. Quote
RIPPEN Posted April 1, 2006 Report Posted April 1, 2006 The guy I work with has been talking about that bike for a few months... I think it looks ok but not sure how Iam diggin the independant rear... RIPPEN Quote
jmoore Posted April 2, 2006 Report Posted April 2, 2006 Old news But it would prolly make a good quad for someones girlfriend or something Quote
superdave Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 We have one at the shop I work at (part time)....It is real heavy, just like all the other polaris atv's....Nice concept....D Quote
Shee-Male Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 It may turn out to be revolutionary, or maybee there is a reason that it's never been done before? There will be teething pains with it I'm sure and I'll bet matinance and cost of parts will be unsatisfactory, only time will tell. I'll just stick with my shee thanx very much Quote
Soupbox660 Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 Yeah, I personally think its dumb. Plus its a Polaris so it weighs at least 7 times more than what it should. Let Yamaha try something like that and see what happens. Quote
Polish Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 Yeah, I personally think its dumb. Plus its a Polaris so it weighs at least 7 times more than what it should. korndawg Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 The way they did the rear suspension is an interesting concept, but the way it's built, it looks a little cheesy to me. I don't exactly have a warm fuzzy feeling about running something that has lightweight aluminum suspension, especially when it's polaris making it. Quote
bansheeryder_69 Posted April 4, 2006 Report Posted April 4, 2006 The guy I work with has been talking about that bike for a few months... I think it looks ok but not sure how Iam diggin the independant rear... RIPPEN 495691[/snapback] that IRS looks stupid as hell, If I wanted something heavy with IRS I would buy the 700 sportsman Quote
