  5. Hey guys...and gals..just a thought. We all ride a Banshee that we think is a great machine. We spend hours making them look great and run even better, but then when we try to sell them we give them away. I just sold my nicest Banshee ever (yes I am sad), but the money was great. I just do not understand why we are trying to give these things away..Just a thought. I will be out of the HQ for awhile...until my next Banshee most likely..Just one little bit of advise. If you are trying to sell keep your price and in the long run the buyers will come. The Bashee is going to be harder and harder to get ahold of a clean one will be very hard to find... I am out..superdave
  6. the last four are 6500.....so I think .40 over...Thanks for the help Jeff...The more I get to thinking about it..I am just going to keep them unless someone shows me cash..not going to give them away...I will sell other old parts instead of these....thanks dave
  7. I have used TR-6, T-5 and PC's presently on my ride...They all run good. It is all about what you like and what you ride. TR-6's seemed to be the smoothest and my T-5 and PC's seem almost the same as far as power and hit harder. I have rode a FMF SST banshee and it also ran hard...total preference. dave
  8. jbooker82, No problem man...thanks for the bump....superdave
  9. They have not sold yet.....People have talked about wanting them, but have not given any money yet....Hey Rippen if you go to the KP run with red in July then maybe we will finally ride together..if they do not sell soon maybe I will just put them on and struggle through the money deal...later superdave
  10. I think they are 40 over...I will pm Jeff or Jeff if you see this could you comment....or I will give you the piston size when I get home and look at the box...superdave
  11. All pms returned...I also have a stud kit for them....They are nice cylinders....superdave
  12. red, hey I can't get the pics no camera....., but the price is $700 plus shipping...I paid more for them and all the other parts plus I just had them powder coated... Peps if you thank it is too much please keep the comments to yourself... Buy a set of used cylinders $200 get them honed and bored $100 then port them $350 and add the piston kit $120 and then fresh powder coat $80...and then misc gaskets....just want a fair price for them....superdave..
  13. I have a fresh set of cylinders from FAST...they have never been on my bike yet...they are dune ported. Just powder coated gloss black..new pistons and base gaskets and intake gaskets...it will not be cheap..., but money is tight and they need to go...had to even cancel my Glamis trip at the end of the month...any questions ask them...thanks superdave
  14. If you guys can set a firm weekend for the ride I would be in...Bring a couple of people from western colorado and two cousins from rock springs.....My motor should be dialed by then.....dave
  15. Hey I am just wondering what o rings work on a vitos head besides vitos..does noss cross over or coolhead? does anyone know for sure? Thanks...dave
  16. With no timing added and stock head with pipes and pod air cleaners I was at a 290 main at 4800' in western Colorado...my current banshee runs 310 mains presently....I have not really run it since the weather got so cold, but that is what I ran it when the temps where in the 80's.....good luck...ds
  17. I am an old VW guy....so if all else fails..go to a local shop that works on old VW's and they can show you how they work....Like stated above pretty easy once you do a couple...call Jeff at FAST..he will get you going...ds
  18. I have had tech 8's and now I ride with tech 6's.......and I like them....cheap boots are like cheap shoes..do not fit and hurt your feet. If you put on a cheap pair of boots and a nice pair of boots you will feel the difference....just my opinion...and we alll know about opinions....ds
  19. I had them on my last banshee and liked them a lot. Easy to put on, nice extra width and the elka's worked well. Some will say that you need rezzies on the shocks, but I did not notice fade due to heat. I think it is a great deal?
