The waterbed had those drawers under it, about 1 foot or 2 in the middle is open up underneath, I found it when I was tearing it apart today! The pain was so bad I couldn't walk, and the bacteria from it caused my leg to start rotting from the inside out. I'm lucky I still have my leg.
