BRIAN BANSHEE Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 (edited) Does ne one have a diagram of the primary drive or the whole transmission in general! MAN I FU*KING HATE DEALERS!! I put my shee in last year and had 2500$ worth of work done $1000 of which was in the tranny. So i'm n the middle of doing my winter rebuild and i notice my clutch cover case has a big fucking split right from the kick starter to the seal (this must of happened the last time i rode it) n e way i notice that there s a lot of metal in there so im like what the fuck. so i look under the clutch and i see this washer with one flat side and i say "it couldn't be" so i haul out the old clymer and look at the diagram and sure enough it's the washer that goes in front of the primary drive gear. Man i fuckin hate dealers. Then i realize that the little circlip isn't there either and i realize that that's what all the metal was. Then i look at the edge of the PD gear and the whole edge is almost worn away to nothing, and the inside of the gear touching it is the same way! MAN I' M PISSED!! wait till tomorrow i'll post pics!! Would this have caused my cover to split if that washer had gotten caught up or would it be just a fluke! Edited January 16, 2006 by BRIAN BANSHEE Quote
odaen Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 I know www.everything2stroke.com has manuals for quite a few 2 strokes, banshee's included. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 you can go to Powersportspro.com and go into their partsfish. In the partsfish you can look at a microfiche of your banshee. Quote

rocketboy Posted January 16, 2006 Report Posted January 16, 2006 next time any dealer says a banshee needs around 1,000 or more in work, tell him to eat the corn out of your shit ....cause good running she motors can usually be bought for even less than a grand on fleabay . Quote
BRIAN BANSHEE Posted January 17, 2006 Author Report Posted January 17, 2006 Man i feel like such an ass. But the worst thing about it was that this guy comes very highly recommended, I know how to do it now but over a year ago i was brand new to the shee scene and knew nothing i just wanted to ride, i guess i should've put the time into it myself. oh well that's what ya get for bein a plug i guess. Oh yeah, do a search on my other post about T.O.R.S which was also done by the same guy at the same time, and how much trouble i had with that. MAN I FU*KING HATE DEALERS!!!!!!! Quote
Shee-Male Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Dealers don't know nothing besides taking your money!! Demand money back and fix it yourself! Quote
CombatTalon2 Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 Hey i have been to St. John's a few times. Stayed at the Delta hotel a few nights. that place is fucking cool. We fly thru St. John's every time we fly over to the mid east. Quote
GYTWYPT Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 ronnies.com also has microfisch I believe i would definetly have to have some compensation over something like that. Either monitary or a jab in the mouth, maybe both. Quote
korndawg Posted January 17, 2006 Report Posted January 17, 2006 I believe i would definetly have to have some compensation over something like that. Either monitary or a jab in the mouth, maybe both. The money would probably be better to help you get your ride put back together, but it's always been my experience that a good punch in the mouth is much more satisfying. Quote
