I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong but I believe .040 over would = 65mm. He was saying it would be a waste to bore a set of cylinders if they where on there last bore.

Right, I already have the forks and drum in my bike. I was just trying to remember which ratios where diffrent and if it was worth trying to run in a banshee motor. If I used it at all it would probably just be for a spare motor, but did not want to build it if it was not going to work. thanks Joe

Are the domes in good shape? What kind of compression does that give you. When I was running 17's on a stock motor I think I was around 215 is that about right?

$900 Wow you could almost get a set of Serval cubs for that with Pistons. If you are planning on spending that much you might as well ship your whole motor out and let one of these guys get it all taken care of for ya. Seems real expensive to me, but then again I try and do all the work I can myself. I think I could do a whole topend for about $300 with machine work. Good luck on your choice

Carbs must be a 34mm with a smooth bore because they are micing out at about 34.5-34.9 Keihin PJ flat. Have a sale pending for them at $200. I will let everyong know if it falls through. Two cranks are good two are bad I am thinking about keeping one and would sell the other. It is stock and seems to be in good shape. What will you give for it. I am in the 64701 zip Missouri. Actually 252 wheelieking has first dibs on the swinger/carrier. The 409 I was thinking $400. Cool head is out for the moment. Figure out if I am going to build another motor with the cases that are on the way. No thumb throttle I dont think but I think I do have a brand new OEM Cable still in the bag. Just trying to figure out this photobucket stuff. Fastest I can get here is Satellite connnection which is still not real good. Looks like I cant figure out how to get a better pic yet. damn it Success there it is. Finally. I am going to go and try to make a list today. I just bought another set of cases so not sure if that is going to be added to the list or I am going to use some of this stuff to build another spare motor. If you are a diesel mechanic you will not have a problem with this. If you do not already have a clymers manual for your shee. I would get it first thing. You should be able to do everything that needs to be done yourself except the boreing of the cylinders. Might have your crank trued and welded if it is not already done if you are going to tear into the bottom end. Maybe check the clutch while you are down. None of it is a big deal. You will find all the help you need right here for sure. Keep us informed Where are you located maybe some of us close that can help you out.

Well damn it. Instead of selling this stuff I just bought another set of cases so I guess I will put another spare motor together. Oh well at least some of this stuff will all be put into a smaller place now. I will still have some stuff left so make me some offers. The set of cylinders and the cool head will be gone along with one of everything else that makes a motor. Thanks

I am with the other guy I dont think I would ever buy anything from a Mower and Appliance shop for my bike. I dont skimp on any of my toys. Like someone said earlier you can go broke saving money.

Or take the intake boot off one and put it on the other. 4 little bolts and loosen a clamp Since you would have to take them off for a plate anyway probably would not be that big of a deal. I also have banshees with diffrent size intakes. Hell at that price I may buy one for each size that I have. Like I said before convenience is very nice. Out

Yeah there is 4 cranks but only two good ones. the other two have a lower rod bearing bad a piece. As for the swingarm yes the grey is a stock. Kinda placed it by the LSR roundhouse + swinger for refrence. I think the LSR is a +3. I still havent had the time to go make a list and put this stuff in the proper forum. My bad. The MONO is a 409 La Sleeve big bore. No pistons but fresh bore I believe to be 68.5mm. I got this on a trade along time ago and never did anything with it. Not sure how good they are. I think someone told me they where better for low end. Thanks for the intrest. I am still thining about what I want to do. I am leaning towrad liquidatiing all this stuff that I dont use and getting a Serval set up. but on the other had I could get a couple sets of cases and probably build two motors out of what laying in the floor.
