Im pretty sure the Wiseco is in the same place as stock, but now that I think about it, I can't remember when in the stroke the window is matched up with the intake. With the window placed higher up in the piston, it would be fully uncovered lower in the stroke (possibly only at the bottom). I would think that wouldn't be as good. With the window lower, the piston has started traveling upword, and begun to pull negative pressure in the crank when the windows are fully uncovered. All speculation though.

The more I think about it, I think one would be more friendly towards high rpm, but not really sure without seeing them in the cylinder.

I dunno man, your sure they're the right application?

i am runnnig the namura's in my bike and they work pretty good. i can't tell you a performance differance because my bike was stock before and now its got a pretty agrresive port job. all i know is it rips.

by moving the ports they alter the duration of fuel flow into the cylinders. hence that is how they get the power piston name. they work well. i run them in both my shees and i have over 200 hours on them. no problems. put them in and enjoy :)

More top end then?

well i would say, a better low to midrange hit. they claim to boost 4h.p. in the midrange. but then again, my bikes are all setup for low end :P like i said i have run them 2 years now and no problems.

would these be the same set up as the vito's power pistons?

get rid of those things asap. i made the mistake of running them once and they last 3 weeks. pulled them out honed it and put in wiseco's and itran for a year with no problems. put in a set of namura on the next rebuid, they lasted a month that time. put in wiseco and it ran fine for another year.

namura blows ass.
