When I wen't down to the dunes I used a 15 front stock rear and worked pretty good. I wouldn't have gone any higher because the sand bogs you down alittle bit. But with the stroker you could most likely pull a 16 in the dunes.

I'd say it depends on what paddles you're gonna run. 20 inch haulers, you could get away with the 15/41 gearing. Bigger than that, you're probably gonna want to run a 14 tooth front sprocket for 2nd gear holeshots.

Completely depends on your setup. I used to run 13/44 or 45 on my old ported 350 with 22X11X8 9 paddle exteme ultalights/+6 swingarm and thought it was about perfect.

i run stock gearing, tried the 15 up front and if i was in the wrong gear, it would bog too much, i like being in third and being able to whip it around and not have to down shift.... other than that it worked great. wheelies out the hole for sure.

Stock except pipes, sand skate 2: 14-41

mild port sand skate2: 13-41

Keeps the gearing low for instant "on" power when sidehilling, chutes etc... in 2nd gear. It's all personal preferance though.

i run 20" haulers(10 paddle) on my slightly modified shee, stock porting, cool head w/21cc domes, toomey T5's, graydon proline 2:1 carb kit with 35mm keihin, +4 swingarm, etc...but anyway my gearing is 14/43 andi really like it, i went up from a 13t front sprocket because i was topping it out too much on the logging roads, and at the dunes(oregon dunes so you know the hills are big) i have no bogging problems starting out in second, and can hit 4th gear going up banshee hill at winchester bay...works great for me i woulden't want any higher.
