  5. I've met Dan in person... not only did he go the extra mile while building my cubby he even took the time to help tune it. He also is very good about providing service after the sale too. I've had questions for him about my motor and tuning and he still gets back to me quickly even though there is no sale to be made and he' s got the money... Highly recommend Dan...
  6. yeah, its pretty disturbing that they would do this... pisses me off.
  7. I know that only a handful of you are from Oregoni but I thought I should pass the info along anyhow: Just got off the phone with a buddy who just got off the phone with Leonard from Leonard's offroad about a "secret" meeting happening in salem this Monday at 7:00. Apparently, the BLM is not disclosing much information about this meeting so there will be little resistance about shutting down ALL offroad land including the oregon dunes to offroad vehicles. Sounds like they are doing their best to shut everything down. I plan on attending this meeting on Monday and would encourage all of you to do the same. I will get more details and share more info as I get it. BLM Building 1717 Fabry Rd. SE Salem, OR 7:00pm-8:30pm March 13th
  8. If you want to be able to switch back and forth from alchy to gas, I highly suggest Lectrons.
  9. I agree with you, I think.... I had to pull out the dictionary like 4 times. lol..
  10. thanks man... little different which is cool.
  11. Just to site a few examples... Lewie jr. (twister cranks) was posting something about their new billet cylinders and it kinda ended up in a little mess when calvin made his posts. To me it just seemed like friendly shit talking (if there is such a thing). Well, someone's feeling got hurt and since twister is not a site sponsor the thread was deleted. I posted something about the post disappearing and was pretty tactful in the way I handled I might add. Basically, I just wanted more info on the new cylinder. A few peeps chimed in and poof... it was gone by morning. There was also a thread about ohton racing (administrator on Planet Sand) that was taken down. Basically it was a guy wanting to get his money or his parts back because it had been over 8 months. Because he runs the show over there the post was gone in about 10mins. Bullshit if you ask me. Every builder takes some heat from time to time, just the nature of that site but when they start playing favorites over there and basically censoring what consumers like you and me see to steer us at a certain product is just wrong and it pisses me off. Just like NYUK was saying you got to be in that certain click... I've met some great riders and builder over there and I'll keep in contact with them but the rest of them I could care less about.
  12. I dont have any solid numbers but judging by ear I would say that they are abou the same.
  13. they meet db limit here in Oregon so I am guessing sub 93dbs. They are great silencers but are very expensive.
  14. Since I play ride this bike I still want to be able to pull the clutch in at high rpms. with all the "weights" on there it would make it tough. I also want to the clutch to slip just a bit. I'm also running 3 stock springs.
  15. I've got mine up to 162 but I was using the rare pink power band strapped around my boost bottle through reed spacers and back around my amp link... mines also locked up with 4:10s in the rear.
  16. Mattoon clear lexan cover... thanks for the compliment!
  17. Just dump it in your tank and run it WOT till you either blow it up or figure out its running good...J/K I would play it safe and dump it in your lawnmower or weedwaker. Sometimes I'll even throw the left overs in my truck tank if I've got 3/4 tank or better.
