  3. I have work shocks and i am wondering how I should compress them so I can change the stiffness? I have tried a couple things but no such luck.
  4. Try bumping up the piolet to a 27 and do a WOT plug check, see if maybe you are rich.
  5. No you won't have to rejet, and if your elevation is above 700ft or so you don't have to run race gas.
  6. I would say as of now you are putting out 40hp maybe little more, but not much. To get 80-90hp maybe a full drag port, stroker, with big alky carbs. And maybe than some.
  7. No. That is for your speedo so it reads correct MPH.
  8. Water get into the gas somehow or all I can think of is your plugs/plug wires or intake might have gotten wet.
  9. All I can think of is make sure that pilot isn't plugged. I'm taking it idled before you put the smaller jets in?
  10. I've had mine for about a year and a half starting to slip...... but i think that might be the 1/8th mile drag strip that really fried it.
  11. I would just have your head shaved .30 (had mine shaved .35) coast me $30 at arnolds machine shop. And get the 2 into 1

My bike seems to run leaner than most people on here but since your cylinders are not ported I would think that would get you close. Try on the third clip firsth though.
  13. I used a regular car temp. gauge before i got new plastic. I just used a T fitting.
  14. Um the domes are smaller and there is less space creating more comp. and no you don't have to rejet. When you take that lid off you need to rejet, go up on the mains.

    yeah i run around 160psi the exaust was just polished never had any material removed. the intake has been opended up though.

    Wondering if anyone has a set of cylinders laying around that you could sell me for a good price. Wanting to sell my currently ported cylinders and get a set to have eric gorr prt them. These are top-end and i'm looking for more bottom-mid.
  18. Maybe thats why I always seem to be rich compared to most of you on here. Damn, the humidity during the day is just killer.
  19. It is always really humid in Iowa. Just wondering if that would effect my jetting. Even if the temp. on drops say 10-15 degrees but the humidity drops alot it seems to make a huge diffrence in the way my shee runs.
  20. Sound lean on the main for being ported. start with a 340 work your way down. You need to rebuild the top end with that low comp. or at least try new rings. You should be at 140psi or so And for the pipe thing sounds like your piolet jet is plugged.
