He is very talented engine builder.

i have bought from them before and had no trouble. in fact, they went out of their way to help me. they seem to be very knowledgeable, but to answer your question about porting i cant say for sure. try em and tell us how it comes out. just kidding. :D

Sanddragon,

Did Roger do your motor? What did you have done?

Any one else out there have motor work done by them?

Thats just going to coast you more  money to have them take it down when all in all its really easy to do. Its a two stroke theres nothing to it.

For sure!

If its just a port job it might take you an hour to tear it down to the jugs TOPS!

Pull the carbs, boots, reeds, pipes and gas tank (15-20 minutes)

Drain oil and coolant (5-10 minutes)

Unhook the chain, clutch cable and coolant lines (5-10 minutes)

Unbolt the kicker, brake lever, shifter and foot pegs (5-10 minutes)

Unbolt the engine mounts and lift it out (2-5 minutes)

Zip the head off then zip the jugs off (2-5 minutes)......there an hour, TOPS

I could do that in about 20 minutes, they'll charge you 2 hours labor for removal and another 2 for install im guessing. Even if you deciding to go "local" don't pay for work that you can easily do yourself. Unless you have a money tree in your back yard, and in that case SEND ME A SEED OR TWO! I wanna grow one too.

I agree it's not hard to do. I did the top end on my old shee.

I'm not worried about an hour or so of labor costs. A lot easier and worth it to me to just drop the bike off.

Plus if for some reason there is a problem with the bike when done, I'm eliminating the shop from being able to blame it on me for installation error. I am able to just take it back in. I don't have to worry about tearing it down again and shipping parts etc.

I'm going to go by Wicked tomorrow and talk to Roger and go over possible setups.
