i bidded and won a chrome swing arm with a small blemish in th chrome and almost one month later i still havent recieved it. he claimed there was a mix-up in shipping but i still havent got it. now he is selling the same one on ebay right now. please beware

would th port job on a 4mil be like a regular stroke but 2 mil higher and do they cut 2 mil off the domes?

i bought a set of wsm pistons .30 over on ebay but there were no piston to cylinder clearance specs they' re supposed to be forged but again the box does not say please help

the seam where the crankcase comes together, is this my benchmark? i have an adjustible timing plate and i wanted to make sure that my timing was'nt causing my problem. this is probably elementry but i want to be positive. thanks

i did not do a leak down test as of yet but i am finding a lot of raw fuel on the plug and in the jug. would this be a symptom of an air leak? i am having this problem at an idle i havent tried to bring it up past that for fear of more damage. i do have a boost bottle, as for as the seals they look ok, but what do i know? please run this info through your computers and tell me what to do pleeeaaase.

yes it run like a spotted ape until the crank bearing give up, i rebuilt it and cranked it finding this problem. i will try gapping it thanks so much

i had to put a new crank in and go 0.30 over so i bought a new noss w/19 cc domes. the problem is the right side back fires while the left side seems to be fine. i used the advise i read on the hq and switched the plug wires with no change, also i switched carbs, no change. i switched reed cages, no change. both plug wires have spark and the carbs are set the same in every way the book (clymer & yamaha service manual) specifies. what am i missing? fyi my banshee has stock carbs except for the tors removal kit with 280 mains the needle is in the 4th pos. running turbo blue at 30:1 w/926 . toomey t5's at sea level and sport port if that matters. i know you guys can help me, this is all i think about and it is going to be the death of me please help

i am in the process of rebuilding my motor and decided to port the jugs. the question is about the pistons, which are std. weisco prolites, are they supposed to have the same size windows? i mean when i look through the intake i can see a big difference, should they match? by the way i used race logic port maps i would appreciate any help, thanks.

excuse my ignorance but is a turbo on a 2 stroke possible? seems like i read that it couldnt be done but dont let that stop you from trying. it might be a good topic for some of the smarter guys (smarter than me) not you

i have bought from them before and had no trouble. in fact, they went out of their way to help me. they seem to be very knowledgeable, but to answer your question about porting i cant say for sure. try em and tell us how it comes out. just kidding.

i live on the coast in mississippi and i could find noone that knew how or would rebuild mine so i just got a new one. i know i am not much help sorry

i love my k&n's but if you ride trails you are going to run into some water sooo spend a little more on outer wears trust me on this and dont ask me how i know

that really sucks don't it. i would imagine the heads are pretty messed up by now. i dont suppose you have access to a tig welder? i would try to weld a nut to the top of the bolt. the heat should break up the loctite or corrosion in the threads, and you will have a nut to put a socket on. sorry i couldnt give you a more simple answer. good luck -

i heard you should purge a motor after running methanol through it. i am running a 28 to 1 ratio klotz super techniplate mix. will the cylinders rust if i dont protect them or is the oil enough? anyone have this problem? thanks.

i also had this problem,when i ruined my puller i got mad and beat my flywheel up pretty bad so i welded the puller to the flywheel and used an impact and it came right off. this is a LAST resort

i am thinking of making my flywheel lighter since i have got if off, and i am assuming the weight will be removed off the outer perimiter but does anyone know how much is acceptable? i am pretty sure my machanist has not performed this mod. what do yall think?

i need help. i recently got a 99 banshee w/ a few bolt on goodies. the problem is i had a rod berring fail, so now i must rebuild the crank and bore it out at least 30. the part i need help with is all this info i am getting about cranks is making my head hurt. should i rebuild or buy a new assy? what size rods? should i go stock? please help. by the way this banshee is for recreation, trails and a little asphalt drag.
