For the record I run a 420cc trinity sleeved cylinders with the trinity pro mx port and have a head milled by them and run thier 2into1 carb setup. It took me all of 20minutes to tune the carb for the motor. I run a 2into1 pipe and just obliterate people on trail rides. everything from a 450 to a 450r to other banshees. Most of the bad things I've heard about trinity is merely customer support being a bitch to get a hold of and/or taking forever to get shit done by them because of backlogs.

I am guessing that you ride glamis. Some of the top sand porters that have very good reputations are in no particular order Port Magic, A&S racing, K&T, ohton racing. Rudy at port magic will do my next set of cylinders. He know his stuff and has been doing it for a LONG time. He does the delahoyas bike that is one of the fastest in glamis.

Gorr's website  CLICK HERE

my brother has a woods port by eric gorr and its unreal fast. sredish just got his back and together and will tell you the power is unreal. for 200 bucks you cannot beat this porting. i highly recommend his work. send sredish a message if you want a second opinions and stclark04 for a 3rd opinion. id stay away from trinity if i were you. since you have cpi's you wont lose anything on top end but you will gain a massive amount of power in the bottom end and mid range. the woods port will easily pull a 17 tooth front sprockt hard from bottom to top. give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

Loco where actually on the website does it say anything about porting a Banshee? If you could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

I'm kinda with Loco on this one.

My OPINION of trinity = Yes, they might build a good motor, and it will most likely out run all the stockers you line up against, and will probably outrun 450's all day long with no trouble at all. If thats all you want then great.. I highly recomend going with a trinity motor. They are an excellent company for the guy who wants to get a little more ZIP out of his motor.

I've been hillclimbing on a national level for about 4yrs on a CR500 that puts out over 85hp and has tons of torque. The bike will pull any gear you throw on it.This is the kind of power and speed I'm used to, and maybe I'm asking too much out of the banshee engine, but that is how I want it to run.

My OPINION of fast, is not out runnin the stockers out in the dunes, or throwin sand in some poor 4 stokers face.

FAST to me is.. Every time I grab a gear the cross bar comes up and smacks me in the face, gives me a bloody nose, and the whole damn machine comes over backwards and out from underneath me,( all at the same time) and leaves me lying in a pile of dust, while I spit my broken teeth out. THAT.. IS MY OPINION OF FAST

IF anyone on this website knows of an engine builder that can perform this task for me PLEASE let me know who it is.

I don't think that's asking too much of a banshee engine to match your cr specs, specially if you add another 150cc to the banshee.

We all forgot to mention Patriot Racing. I've head A LOT of good things about their motor building. I went with Gorr and so far it seems to be a really really strong motor. I haven't dynoed it or anything yet, but it pulls freakin hard and smooth. I probably would have went with Patriot if I could have gotten in and out within a decent amount of time. Gorr's turnaround was 2 weeks and it was priced good, while that's not why I went to him, it's a good plus. I do not think you can go wrong with Gorr.

One little issue I had with Gorr, wasn't bad, but communication was a little weird, not bad. I was wondering when my cylinders would be coming. He didn't call to tell me he'd received them, so I wondered if he'd gotten them. I called and asked if he'd gotten them and he vaguely remember a set of banshee cylinders he'd gotten in. He said about a week and a half and he'd have them out. Two weeks later I hadn't heard from him and was figuring he'd call to go over how I wanted the cylinders. Now, I had a letter in there detailing exactly what I wanted done, but I figured he'd call me anyway. Well, at the 2 week mark, I started getting a little frustrated and wondering if he'd started on them, if they're done or what and was gonna call him the next morning. I get home, and my cylinders are on my back porch.

Now, I'm probably being anal and looking back, it was really no big deal. I'm a communication nut, that's what makes me warm and fuzzy. Every time I'd call Gorr's shop, Eric would answer, I just didn't want to harass him every other day as to where my cylinders were, but he is/was easy to get ahold of if you needed him. Try and get ahold of Patriot by phone or via email and it'd be 10 times harder and you'd be waiting 10 times longer, or at least it was for me. I got one reply email about a month after I sent it from Patriot and couldn't get them on the phone. I'm not talking bad about Gorr, just letting you know what to expect. As of this moment, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate to sent them to Gorr. Thing is, anybody that's good will be busy I'm sure, so it's a give and take I guess.

There is a vid of Tylers 500 banshee and Stephens Gorr banshee racing and it's closer than I'd expect it to be, but of course the 500 takes it towards the end. I can't remember if there's a vid of the stroker and stclark's Gorr bike. I have them all saved on my puter.

I'll throw a vote in for Patriot as well. One of the problems with having one of the busier builders doing work for you is communication. If the demand for their work is high and they are looking to make money, they have to devote more time to building motors and less time to answering phone calls and replying to emails. While this does not mean you should have to wait a month for a reply or no reply at all, you may not get the reply as quickly as you might like.

Dan an I emailed each other at least a dozen times during my motor and build. Most of the times his replies came in the middle of the night well after I ahd gone to bed. What this really meant to me that after he was done working he would finally get around to responding to emails when he probably should have been sleeping.

I did have to make an appointment to send my cylinders in well in advance and his turn around time wasn't quick, but well within the amount of time that I considered reasonable.

I have never had any work done by Trinity, and NEVER will. Trinty's customer service is not what it used to be, and you have no idea who is actually porting your motor. One of my friends just got his motor together after 18 months of haggling with Trinity to build a Cheetah. There is a long post on this from me in another thread if you really want to read about it or PM and I can give the details.

All I know is that when I email Patriot, Dan answers, when I call the them Dan answers, When I sent them to Patriot, I sent them to Dan, and when the porting was done, Dan did it. See where I'm going with this?

Trinity's customer service needs improved no doubt, I talk to Eric at trinity about it several times. They always get you taken care of as long as your not ina big hurry. They definitely build awesome shit and have done more R&D on designing and improving banshee products than any other aftermarket performance company. They just can't keep up with the demands now that they do so much exporting. Their stuff is always on backorder, took them a month and an extra call to get the correct domes yet I get my entire engine kit completr and ported in 2 weeks, wtf. Anyway it was worth it. My 2 cents.
