Buckwheat Posted February 9, 2025 Report Posted February 9, 2025 Any idea why the tires / front end shakes at high speed on my 06 SE? Brand new stock size tires, Elka Stage 2 shocks, stock A-arms. Shaking starts @ 70+. Could toe cause it? Quote
kawa110 Posted February 9, 2025 Report Posted February 9, 2025 Bent rim? Balanced wheels? Sloppy ball joint. Loose control arm hardware. You notice this in the dirt or on the street? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Tedder Posted February 11, 2025 Report Posted February 11, 2025 On asphalt I've had tire shake caused by excessive toe in. Excessive toe out caused it to wander/dart. 1 Quote

kawa110 Posted February 21, 2025 Report Posted February 21, 2025 Wonder if balance beads will work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Tedder Posted February 21, 2025 Report Posted February 21, 2025 I use this on my American Racers (rear) but had to change out the heavy springs to work with light ATV tires and the rim center hole that you have has to be within the balancers cone size. *Can be had on sale or elsewhere for around $65 https://www.harborfreight.com/portable-wheel-balancer-59140.html 2 Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 4, 2025 Report Posted March 4, 2025 Toe will be the biggest culprit up front is all the rest of it is in good shape. Quote
