JoeSA Posted March 20, 2018 Report Posted March 20, 2018 Hello, banshee boys. Just want to hear from you guys.. what shock lengths will fit the shee with yfz450 arm conversation. Im looking to buy Elka stage 1 455mm or 17.8”. Will it work? Any advice would be appreciated Quote
kawa110 Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Spend your money on Banshee parts, not 450 parts. Quote
97Screamer Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 ^ This. Alba long travel arms are cheap and will be close to the shock length you're looking at (call for 17.5"). There is a lot more to shock setup then proper length though. You need to know about valving, spring rate, uncompressed and compressed length, otherwise there is a good chance you're just wasting your money. Quote
JoeSA Posted March 21, 2018 Author Report Posted March 21, 2018 I already fitted the 450 arms and shocks. Will these ones fit or not? I am running 450 shocks at the moment but would like it if the front could lift a little. Quote

YFZ450 a-arms will not work on a banshee frame. Stop being a dumbass and run the correct parts. 1 Quote
specialblend07 Posted March 21, 2018 Report Posted March 21, 2018 Take it off, put banshee shit on. 1 Quote

trickedcarbine Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 As long as the trash can is tall. Guess we're all being honest. So that means we're assholes. They have a misfit Facebook group that would be glad to coach you along on your ball joint killing death trap. Quote
Larry's Shee Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 Not bragging, but years ago I read every thread on this subject. 90% said it didn't work, 10% were to proud (or stupid) to admit it. I'm just a carpenter, I could put a Ford starter on a Chebby, but that doesn't mean it will work Quote
