Pull the electronics
Simple green(dilute w/water) and a parts-cleaning brush.
Brake cleaner/carb cleaner
Just clean outside. Clean inside after it is broke down.

If ur replacing seals and bearings, u won’t hurt anything.
You’ll end up cleaning everything once it’s all out.
Don’t fill the cases with water before tear down.

Damn stator is on there good , what could I use to take the main screws off ? by hand im stripping the head

are you talking about on the actual timing plate? or the stator its self?

I use an impact driver on most stuff.  with the timing plate you can only use it on that top screw bc that's the only one that has enough room.  if you absolutely cannot get the timing plate off, use an impact driver to remove the screws holding the stator on (assuming those are glued on there too) then remove the stator, then  you can use a thin grinding disk to cut slots in the screws holding the timing plate on to get a good bite with the impact driver, then pop em right off.

The actual stator plate assembly that has 3 main screws to take off.

Haha the top one is the one that's stripping on the head but all of the other ones are on there rock hard so I'll wait till I try out an impact driver so those don't strip either and if that doesn't work I'll try to make my own head thread. Thanks man greatly appreciated

Does that top plate have to come off? I stripped the damn head of the top right screw only because I was lookin at YouTube i don't know why I did that when I had clymers but YouTube showed to take off the bearing stopper plate and the plate above that one . My question is do I really need that top plate off or can I leave it and just take the stopper plate off? To split case
