Tedder Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 Does anyone sell polyurethane motor mount bushings for Banshee's? Looking for something that's tough with very little give but not metal. Quote

Tedder Posted August 30, 2016 Author Report Posted August 30, 2016 Sorry my description of what I'm looking for wasn't clear. It's the bottom dog bone mounts under the motor that I'd like to stiffen up Quote

It's the bottom dog bone mounts under the motor that I'd like to stiffen upThose are the lower mtr stays to lower mtr mounts. There's solid titanium etc options available. There's also heim rod ends available with TI or CF links. U can also fab solid frame mounts Quote
Tedder Posted August 30, 2016 Author Report Posted August 30, 2016 Thanks John but I'd like to stay away from anything that's rigid as solid metal but with more backbone than factory rubber. It's motor twist on my asphalt launches that I'm trying to control. Quote
JTmachining Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 I have solid lower frame mtr mounts and Delrin bushings with TI Quote

Not sure why u are against something solid other than vibe...that's why I used Delrin Quote
wfobasheeboy Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 This is what I am running. Works great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
locogato11283 Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 Sounds like you need the JDS motor support or something similar. That eliminated all the twisting of our big motors. Quote

JTmachining Posted August 30, 2016 Report Posted August 30, 2016 Ur trying to stop movement. If mount moves so does mtr Quote
Tedder Posted August 30, 2016 Author Report Posted August 30, 2016 I suspect you're used to working with much higher power applications than my junk and don't think I'm going to have any success with anything other than something rigid. I appreciate that your trying to help but I don't run big motors and haven't had a terrible time with twist. I get some scrubbing on my front sprocket and just thought I could snug things up a little with something like a polyurethane type material vs the OEM rubber insert. Quote
