New Laeger Protrax Banshee Build frame color

Has anyone ever seen a raw frame just clear coated. Im debating on having larger just powder clear coat the frame and arms. Go for a natural look which I think would be cool. Any thoughts?

i want to do this but clear powdercoat is porous (pin holes of exposed metal) well it has been in past so rust will start up slowly,2 coats of pc or 2pack clear would be a better option 2pack paint is hard as fuck or just spraypack it, at least you can keep an eye on whats going on and touch it up easily

Wow glad I asked, Didn't know the clear was like that. I use to powder coat wheels for work years ago about I was laying clear over already coated wheels so i never noticed the porous of the clear.

Depends on the prep. Seen some spot rus lightly underneath, and I've seen some look tits for a few seasons. Hit up Brian Stimbert at Quality Powdercoating on Facebook and ask some questions.

Just go bare for the rusty rat rod look. Matte black plastics, gloss red wheels.

I've had clear PC done on a-arms and swingarms. They started surface rusting after a couple months.

clear rocks.  Surface rust is no big deal, looks cool IMO

The way things rust here on the east coast, I think im going to do an actual color instead. Don't want to have to re powder if it doesn't pan out. To risky.

Mock assembly has begin on the laeger banshee. May change the powder colors not sure yet.
