Anyone have a clue why Arlo would cut off the bracket for the bottom chain roller?

Here's a J arm frame I have for parts. The section that's colored black is what I'm missing. If I need the roller I'll just cut it off and have it welded on the HOD chassis.

Ok, I won't worry about it. Just thought the chain might hit the frame if the rear shock was fully opened/stretched. Hope that makes sense.

3 things,

 

Look at a spring loaded lower roller bolts on with peg bolts

 

Im glad i live out west. That frame is a rusty pos by our standards

 

I hope your replacing the upper mounts with tabs after you destroyed them removing the lights

Frame standards are high. Reading standards are low. That's his parts frame he will not be using it.

Your right i missed the parts frame bit. So he bought a lightened, cleaned up frame for a dune bike and is now going to weld all the removed parts back on?
