Surfrjag Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 rip nipples off then rip flywheel off. sounds like you shearered the keyway Quote
trickedcarbine Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Same boat here Corey. Just did cdi swap, checked the woodruff key, checked the pick up, new plug boots, ground(s) are good, carbs are mint, good fuel, new plugs, ohmed the stator, and leak down. It seems to spark fine on both sides but just won't fire. I am hopefully going to swap the coil tonight and re do the grounds again. If it doesn't fire, I'm just doing a new stator, pick up, coil, cdi. Quote
coryv4 Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 tricked when i had this on alcohol last summer one day it would start first kick next day it would just pop and id have to push start it next day fire right up ect im think maybe the cdi is taking a shit because sometimes while riding it it would randomly stutter like like a stutter box > Quote
coryv4 Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 well its not my cdi swapped it out for a known working one. fly wheel key still in tact. Quote
