troyzstang Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Are the carb slides all the way down? Had this issue last week. Just a stupid rookie mistake. Quote
coryv4 Posted April 3, 2013 Author Report Posted April 3, 2013 slides all the way down and in sync. still only one pop with ether. i flip the bike up side down because it was getting severely flooded from trying to start it. about a cup of gas came out. i like it sit for a while after draining flipped it over put fresh plugs in and still just popping. i know this isnt good but i tried pull starting it because it obviously rolls the motor faster and it just popped once when it first started rolling. im lost at this point. trickedcarbine Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Maybe get the bike an AIDS test?..... Quote
coryv4 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Report Posted April 4, 2013 lol the bike has 150 comp in each cylinder Quote
coryv4 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Report Posted April 4, 2013 unless i have a bad fuel valve im sure its in the on position like i stated motor loaded up pretty good. Quote
#1JUANstunna Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 Sounds stupid but is the bike flooded and raw fuel is in the pipes? Quote
shanYE west Posted April 4, 2013 Report Posted April 4, 2013 thats my guess.. fuel is pooling in the cases. fires once then drowns the spark. Clean the carbs out good. make sure nothing is stuck in the needle and seat. Quote
coryv4 Posted April 4, 2013 Author Report Posted April 4, 2013 as i stated in a previous comment i flipped the bike almost completly upside down on enough of an angle to let the gas drain out of the intake port. Quote
