hercalmighty Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 Was your stock head just shaved down or was it shaved and rechambered? If you just had it shaved down you wont be able to run the same amout of compression as you would with a rechambered head/ smaller domes. So what elevation are you at? What type of fuel do you want to run? Quote
trickedcarbine Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 You realize that if you just went and figured oh your elevation and current compression you would have your answer ASAP. Quote
Pasi S. Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 If I did the about math about right, and the stock dome is about 24cc, you have taken out about 4.3cc, so I would buy a Noss head with 20cc domes. But I can be wrong. Quote
Richmrf Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 Thank you all. Got what I needed. Quote
m671054 Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 My rude math showed 1 cc on 64mm bore.not sure what chamber bore diam is though. .050" = 1.27mm. used a cylinder volume calculator. what about head gasket thickness vs pro design oring style.also what is stock squish. seems like if you cut .050 off that would be off. i havent been around a stock head in a long time though. Jereme6655 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 anyone wanna bet we don't hear from him again until he claims someone gave him "bad" info? Quote
bansheeboy01 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 if ur running pump gas use 22cc or 21 cc on stock port. if u got a port job done find out how much compression you currently have and compare it to a stock set up compression if u have less then a stock set up u might wanna use 19cc domes Quote
