itscody Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 This guy builds banshees. Stator is in. Pretty blue spark left cylinder low compression. Going to tear it down. N manuals don't realy help much. U only learn once u break it n fix it urself. Like someone said. Banshee and spend money r in the same sentence. Quote
xtankx Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 N manuals don't realy help much. U only learn once u break it n fix it urself. Not only Clymer tells you how to do it, but it tels you what tools to use and such info. Lots of other stuff you might not even think of is in that book. This manual is a must for all DIY home mechanics. Quote
itscody Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 If I don't decide to just buy another outlaw. I'm going to just sell this engine n get a new one. Because something keeps making my left side piston get fd up Quote

itscody Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 It was like that when I bought as well right side perfect. Left side shit. Like I said before this is the only shee I've had issues like this with. Quote
itscody Posted December 19, 2011 Author Report Posted December 19, 2011 You don't learn by reading all day. You learn by hands on. Quote
SLOPOKE21 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Apparently you don't learn PERIOD. You just said it keeps fucking up on left side so why didn't you fix it the first time? You came here looking for help and you want to tell the experts on here that you know what your doing. I bet if you had a manual you could figure it out no problem. You probably just got lucky with the other bikes. Any Tom, Dick, and Harry can put a motor together, but actually knowing what your doing is two different things. Quote
itscody Posted December 20, 2011 Author Report Posted December 20, 2011 1st time I tore top end down left side was worse then right. That was when I first bought bike blown up. Once I repaired it left side was messed up right looks good. So I'd have no idea that there was another problem. Manual dosent tell you there's a problem. And not telling anyone there right or wrong. Larry's Shee Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 But the manual has specifications. I would bet it has a bent or twisted rod, or bad bearing, or major air leak. , seperated crank. I think it's CAMATV has it in his sig " If you only replace the broken parts, did you really fix it?" Maybe post pics, someone might have a clue. Quote
itscody Posted December 20, 2011 Author Report Posted December 20, 2011 Here's the plan. Trade for a cr250. Then trade the cr for a 06 shee. With low hours. Thursday. Then from there I'll add my own mods and know what's goin on with it. Thank u for everyone's help. Quote

Your going to trade a broken bashed for a CR and then trade for yet another banshee so you can break that one or what? Quote
SLOPOKE21 Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 (edited) Some people just never learn. Edited December 21, 2011 by SLOPOKE21 Quote
ginger Posted December 21, 2011 Report Posted December 21, 2011 so it goes, fuck over the guy with the cr250, then possibly have something wrong with the cr250, and trade that for another shee, that once you have issues with you wont be able to fix? Quote
