'shee v. 700r

Well im not going to jump right to conclusions. My buddy has a 700 stock and hes been draggin 300ft dirt for a while now before on a blaster. A good running stock raptor 700 will run about 5.7-5.8 same goes for a good running stock banshee. So for all of you who just jumped to conclusions what are you basing your facts on? Just like previously stated I smoked his raptor with just fmf ssts, vf2s, and a k&n with the lid off in 500ft tar and thats after he put a full lrd exhaust on it. My buddies 02 shee with just T5s and a K&N takes it in 500ft too. What it boils down to in 300ft dirt is rider skill and whos been tuning the bike.

the OP stated "stock" stock the raptor will probally win in 300ft, it will be close and if you can get the holeshot might even pull off a win... With JUST pipes, reeds and carbs I was running 5.0-5.2's on my stock motor shee, and theres were several 700's there and i beat them all in the superstock class...but i had a mean holeshot, I did however get beat by a 700r a few times as well..... my gripe is WHY would you post a thread about a 700cc motor racing against a STOCK 350cc motor.... thats just retarded, wheres the pride in saying you outran a 350cc on a 700cc bike... gtfoh!

 

 

I can't remember the last time I rode a stock banshee. The 700s are pretty quick, I give the win to Raptor in 700ft and 50/50 in 500ft.

But OP said 300ft, the race would be close and come out to who got the holeshot, equal riders dont mean nothing, someone's gonna get the jump...and whomever does will probally win...

Those both are not stock and that was the question. Stock means stock pipes, air filter, etc.

 

Guy your high apparently and so isnt Ieat4strokes. I clearly stated a Stock Raptor 700 will run 5.7 5.8 in 300ft same goes for a Stock Banshee. Everyone knows the formula if you have a 125cc 2 stroke dirt bike you race with 250cc 4 stroke dirt bikes. 250cc 2 stroke races with 450 4 strokes. So a raptor 700 and a banshee 350 is about as close as its gonna get as far as comparison goes. Thanks for clarifying what Stock means einstein . And im gonna come back and say Ive also compared a banshee with just pipes and a filter to a raptor 700 with just pipes and a filter and the banshee one.

I think he's trying to piss us off with the stock vs stock crap fact of the matter is it doesn't take much for us banshee guys to smoke a raptor dollar for dollar the banshee is faster and we all know its WAY cooler!nobody gives a crap about stock vs stock but yeah the craptor would win I recall burning a few on the 86 ATC250R I had and my motor was only 270ccs

I have both and my stock banshee is faster top speed by 7 mph than the 2008 raptor 700r. Raptor it is a slow turd no lie I gave it to my girl.

I had a 2003 660 raptor and it was very very slow i beat it with my 2001 400 ex but both had lots of motor work but that was like 3 years ago.

The Raptor 700r is a goddam brick. It looks like a room full BMW driving yuppies designed it. Try lifting the front end out of a rut. I raced a kid down the highway on one and kept side to side until his top speed which was less than my Banshee. Yes, he was cursing
