  1. No parking brake on 96 models.
  2. She did low 90's on the Dyno before I pulled the motor. Did a fresh top end on her and now the motor is in the HQ giveaway bike. It will make someone a sweet ride. So go get your tickets!
  3. What slides and needles are you running? Also the size of the pilot jet.

  8. I didn't know Patriot was still around. Good people in my book. I didn't vote cause I'm torn. I don't think I have a favorite.
  9. I like KNT for all out drag race motors with no pocket book limit. I like FAST for the prices on parts. Others for different reasons. Only HJR builds my motors. Only because...why wouldn't I use myself. Sometimes its just who you can get a hold of, who can answer your questions, who has a good turn around time, who answers email and the phone regularly. So much more to it. Choose carefully cause man it hurts when you get taken to the cleaners!
  10. I'm constantly testing on these Cub setups right now. Little steps at a time. I want to know how each setup runs before I make the next change. Butch is getting the next all out HJR drag port before his next race. Butch was placing well in the gas class with the Stage II porting. He got ate up in the alky class....is it a no cc limit class?? No worries for Butch, he will be out front again in no time on Alky. Cheers :beer:

  12. Move the timing to +6 Did you go down a pilot size on the carbs?
  13. That's good news! My rebuild kit with bore and hone do not come with wrist pin bearings. You have to purchase those separate. I have them in stock if you need them. Crap! My bad, it says it right on my website. I will fix that typo. I will send the bearings out to you. Sorry about that!

  16. Does it seem to run well but is just not fast? Does it miss or fall off at certain RPM's? Does it feel like it never gets on the pipe?
  17. Are you sure its ported to the 4 mil crank? Are you sure its ported at all?
  18. The problem might be the stocker has a much smaller internal passage way. With a pingle you have to drill the tank inlet much bigger. The internal passage way in the pingle is much bigger then it splits into the two bigger outlets. If you look at a pingle side by side with the stocker you can see the much bigger internal passage way. It is a great idea if you can hog out the inside of the stocker.
  19. I do 5 to the 405 to the 101 on up.
  20. Stock clip in the middle. You might not need to change that pilot out. Most times its just an air screw adjustmen. Its on its way back. Have FUN!
  21. You must excuse Felix. He is bitter because he chose the wrong builder to go with. So stuff did not work right. When he did find the right builder he was seeing what we could get out of the Banshee for about half the price. It was a good LT 500 but it has its limits. He wanted more and the LT just did not offer it.
