  1. I agree, silicone works wonders. I know what you mean about the bigger stator. I have the RZ stator on mine. You can't reach it with your finger like the stock one. Put some silicone on it, get it into place(I have to use a small screwdriver), let it dry, and just install the flywheel. It has worked every time for me. broke
  2. Yes, stock silencers bolt right up with PTR mids. I can't say if the others will work, but I have stock on mine right now. broke
  3. Turbo, My first is due on Sept. 1. I understand what you mean when you say you thought you would get more sex. Our first attempt after pulling the goalie resulted in a goal. I just thought it would have taken a little longer. Well, congrats. broke
  4. I have been corrected. broke
  5. I agree, it will fit right on. I have one on mine right now. The only thing maybe that the chain will be extremely tight if you use the stock length. If you have the torque to pull the gear it works great. broke
  6. She kind of.....well.....scares me. broke
  7. I am also interested in the pipes. Could you send some pics to [email protected]. Why are you selling the pipes? Just trying something else or don't like them? Thanks, broke
  8. I always thought PETA meant "People Eating Tasty Animals"? broke
  9. Wow, you guys do a lot when there is nothing to do at work. I just take alot of naps. More time to sleep than there is actual work to do. I hate my work and love it all at the same time. broke

  11. Can you be called a post whore if you have 57% of the replys in your own post? Can you be called a post whore for asking a stupid question like"Can you be called a post whore if you have 57% of the replys in your own post?" I guess I became one by default. broke
  12. Needs to be in fairly good conditon. Let me know what you've got. broke
  13. I also use ATF Type-F. Works great for me and can be bought in gallon jugs at Pep Boys for dirt cheap. broke
  14. Thanks for the responses. The Extreme Haulers were the tires that I was looking at. The tire type, paddle number, and wheels size seem to be figured out. As far as the widths go, how will they affect the ride. I will assume that the wider wheel will offer more flotation on sand and have an inch more paddle. Is this the desired affect or do you want a narrow tire that will dig into the sand? Do the different tire diameters mean much? As you can see, I'm a complete moron when it comes to paddle tires. I just don't want to buy the wrong ones, these damn things aren't cheap. broke
  15. Yes and no. You will in theory lose some top end. You will in theory gain some bottom. You can use some simple math to figure out how to get back your topend. Take the stock front gear tooth count which is 14, mutiply by stock rear tire diameter which is 20 and divide by the new rear tire diameter, 18. 14x20/18=15.55 You can gain back much of which you lost by going to a 15 or 16. There will be a slight trade off to each one. broke
  16. I need opinions on paddle tires. I know quite a few of you are regular sand dwellers. There are so many options; my brain is starting to hurt. I'm looking for a good tire for duning that will still hook up hard in a straight line. I was under the impression that straight blades were for drag racing only. I have been reading through many posts and have found this to not be true. I should probably start with bike set up. I would figure it to be around 60-65 hp (that might be slightly optimistic), with a broad power band that is pretty torque"y". Price really isn't an issue. But I have no idea what works good and what doesn't. I realize different tires are going to work better for some people and not for others, and for different quads also. I have no idea what paddle count to get, what the hell "roll out" is, what tire height to get, what tire width to go with, what size rim will work best. I am really looking toward the Skat-Trak line, which complicates things even more. They seem to have different buffs, which isn't even English to me. I guess you can pick and chose whatever paddle set up you like. Is the Kevlar worth it? As you can see I have a lot of questions and basically no knowledge at all. Any opinions are appreciated and thanks in advance. broke
  17. Boonman, How do you get in using mirc? I'm a computer tard, so can you explain to me like I'm 3? What do you mean by"nick a nick'? Somebody help. broke

  19. You may want to try www.mtbr.com . I used to buy and sell alot on there when I was still racing. Most of the time you find people on there that work for a shop and want to sell off their old stuff to buy new. They got it all at pretty good prices and in turn sell it for even better prices. That's something that doesn't really seem to happen in the quad world, go figure. I would probably stay away from all the cable actuated discs(except maybe Hayes, I've never used them). Hydros have a much better feel and modulate better. Anyway, look for a good frame and fork, with well built wheels(probably 4 cross 36's). All the other components are pretty easy and cheap to upgrade as money allows. I have tried the 24" rear wheels and the only advantage I have found to them is that you can run a wider rear tire and it gives you a little more clearance. I found it would tend to get hung up in braking bumps and chatter much worse than a 26". I had a Santa Cruz Heckler that was a great bike and bullet proof. From there I went to a Foes ZigZag for dual slalom. The best bang for the buck was the Heckler. You really have to figure out if you want a bike to try 15 flat land drops or a good woods bikes that can take some good hits. Some guys swear by hardtails but I really liked the 5"ish bikes. broke
  20. I was just wondering if anybody can or does use the chat room anymore. It won't work for me. broke
  21. Just wanted to add this. I won a set of these carbs from him/her on Ebay. I thought the price was way too cheap, but bid anyway. I just wanted to let everyone know the guy/girl is legit and the carbs are very nice. We need more people giving good deals on parts. broke
  22. Those are Keihin jet sizes, not Mikuni. broke
  23. I can't find anyone that carries these. I'm looking for Double Buffs in 21/11/9 or 21/11/8. I can't even find these on Skat Traks web site. Thanks again broke
  24. I will add one more vote to the V-force's. Rather expensive, but i "feel" they were worth it. Txblueshee, I thought I held the psuedo title of smoothest powerband, try stock carbs/V-Force, RZ motor and PTR mids. Longest, smoothest pull of any Banshee I've ridden.
  25. Yes, they can be used with stock carbs. Thye may be able to fit V-Force reeds if you wante to do some grinding. They have an air diverter in back that won't fit into the V-Force cages. broke
