  1. They actually make cases to fit the Rotax 800 cylinders in a Banshee, I don't see why that motor wouldn't be next.
  2. That looks very nice. I really like Bashees with all the same color plastics. I am still looking for red radiator and tank plastics to match my others.
  3. I couldn't even get through all the pictures. I was warned, I'm an idiot. HOLY SHIT
  4. I've had to put one of my dogs down after 13 years. It felt like something was torn out of me. I wish that I would never have to do it again, but if you have pets it comes with the territory. The only advice I can give really isn't even advice, it just gets easier with time. Sorry for your loss.
  5. Channahon, IL Just to help him and you out .. Still here
  6. You right there were the one who made the distinction between hunting and "varminting", which is the point I tried to make in my last post. I said it before and I'll say it again that I DO NOT have a problem with what I would call "honorable" hunting. If you have blurred the line between hunting and exterminating, there is nothing I can do about that. You brought up the topic of ATV in comparison to hunting. It was a good comparison, you just see it differently than me. I do see a difference between the rider who rides on marked trails, and one who rides on public roads. Another between someone who respects the land they ride on and just ripping through private property. Someone who just runs from the cops when caught riding on private land compared to the person who actively participates in getting more riding area open. You are the one who likes to put everything together and blurs the lines. I guess that's the problem, ANYBODY can own an ATV and anyone can own a gun(save the arguement on that, we can list exceptions for everything.) I quote the Simpsons " But Mr. Simspon, there is a three day waiting period on hand guns. Homer replies; But I'm mad now!!
  7. I won't even watch the video, but there seem to be two different kinds of hunters to me. There are those with I believe serious self esteem issues that just like to shoot shit to remind them that they are on the top of the intellect and food chain, and the others that hunt for the sport and actually would like to eat the meat, and/or have a nice rack over the fireplace. I won't pass judgment on the video seeing as I didn't watch it, but they really seem to fit into the first group from the responses. I have nothing against hunting, especially with a bow because there is quite a bit of skill involved and a huge margin of error. I guess I just grew up too close to the city to understand the excitement this brings to certain people. But now hunting something that can fight back with weapons that actually require you to get close enough for the animals to attack in defense would be something to see. I guess it comes down to those that enjoy the hunt and the others that just enjoy the kill. I'm sure this will get some negative responses from the hunters here, but it's good to hear both sides of anything
  8. That looks good, similiar to Pyramids. Definately give a review on those.

  10. Where are the powervalves?
  11. Where are you located?
  12. As far as the other issues go beyond the trans, most of those are easy fixes depending on how bad it is. I will assume it's not that bad considering it was running when you pulled it apart. Regular two stroke maintenance consists of new pistons and maybe a bore. Even if the head is trashed they can be had for around $10 on Ebay or check with NYUK, he always has plenty of them laying around. Good luck

  14. Plastics w/seat front brake lever w/lines RZ flywheel Upper left A-arm lower left A-arm Lower right A-arm Yellow Radiator & tank plastic
  15. pretty much, just like putting the cheetah on the banshee. No suprisingly, the same man makes them both. I think the Sabertooth still has quite a bit left in it also. It's good to see someone trying to advance the sport as much as he is.

  17. It helps to improve traction, and correct some of the geometry issues with the Banshee. How? By changing the front to rear weight balance. It moves the rear tires forward, thereby moving the ridiers weight more towards the rear of the quad. The Banshee is front heavy from the factory, so this is a great mod for them. Getting forward + a-arms does this slightly also. There are many on here that run - length swingarms, me included that can give two thumbs up for this simple mod. I did notice that is was kind of sketchy in sand, it just gave a vague feel of when the front was getting light, but it has been great every where else.
  18. One last bump before I start parting it out.
  19. I have been looking at the those Skat trak all terrain paddles, desert something. I haven't found anything that is real good in the snow. I would like to hear some more opinions too, those Skats are a little too pricey to try and find out they suck.
  20. Yeah, the Limiteds are really the only ones that I like the look of. I just can't handle this truck in two tone. Thanks Matt. I would love to get a camper/hauler but this is with out a doubt the most expensive vehicle I have ever purchased so it might take a while to get used to the payments. Boonman, I would love to see a pic of your buddy's truck. I have been looking at parts for this thing already. I really wanted to leave it alone, but after hearing you guys talk about what these things can do I kind of have the bug now. The only Diesel I have heard with anything done to it was Banchetta's Duramax and that thing sounded mean. Thanks for the compliments and I will definately post pics if it starts to evolve.
  21. You gotta love when someones first post shoots down some poor kids dream of the new game he was going to ask Santa for for X-mas. GRINCH
  22. Then why even get clear?
