what do you mean? all the factories that put out 4 strokes still put out 2 strokes. lets see, honda has the cr250 and they make the new 450r. yamaha has a blaster and banshee and also the yfz450. suzuki still puts out rm250 dirtbikes and they have the z400. polaris has their really slow 2 strokes and the predator. kawasaki has the kx250 and the kfx400. there hasnt been an end to one and a beginning of one.

first off for what reason do you wanna go 120 mph? do you realize at 120 your banshee will go back in time? your stock engine wont even pull the massive size front sprocket you need to go 120 mph. if i were you id stick to 75 mph and live a little longer.

holy shit 100:1 seems like a really lean mix. i guess if his jetting is spot and he uses good oil he shouldnt have too much to worry about. personally i run 32 or 40:1. works great for me. i use klotz also.

that paint sucks. i sprayed a set of blue fenders here not to long ago and it looked like shit. i sanded them and the paint didnt wanna stick for shit. i cleaned them and everything but it didnt help. hell one time i used some cheap ass gloss black wal mart paint on a fender and it looked better than fusion.

i like it too. seems to pull it, better than the lower teeth real smooth with tons of grunt still, long straights the fith gear pull makes you eyes water if your not wearing gogles, when you hit sixth yer doin 80+mph yea i know. its nuts. 6th gear is just crazy. i need to get my dead spot gone. its starting to really piss me off. someone said i need to change the needle, but i dont know what the f*ck needles i need.

its actually geared really low. ive got a 15 for mine and thats about where it needs to be.

yea i may end up gettin some pod filters. i just ddnt wanna pay for them. where can you get them to fit a 35 mm carb? also. the idle adjust is plastic. you just cant see it very well in the picture. i talked to proquad and he said the same thing about the needle. thing is that i dont have a fuckin clue as to which needle i need. hell i didnt know they made that much of a difference.

word. except dont buy a polaris. at least stick with yamaha.

check your stator. if a wire has been cut it can make contact and then come apart. i rode mine like this for a day and didnt even realize it. i was riding and it would shut down. then id stop and it would start right back up. couldnt figure out what the fuckin deal was. come to find out one of the wires on the stator had come apart. id check it over good if i were you.

those are fuckin sick. but not worth 3000 bucks if you ask me. i could buy several banshee engines for that.

why would you wanna change sprockets?? what are you trying to gain?? is it for dragging or trail riding??

if something is loose in your rear end that will do it. especially if you jump it and land wrong. chains usually jump off when they are too loose, when sprockets are worn, and when something is loose in the rear end. yes you can just replace a few of the links if they are messed up. just run 2 masterlinks. thats what i do anyway.

ive got the same problem. mines got a bog in the middle and i cant get rid of it. its startin to piss me off. i have tried the needle all over and cant seem to get rid of that dead spot. wish i could, itd be nice to be able to go from a rolling start and whoop some ass.
