  1. what that nerd said...
  2. woot woot im an hq legend!! wooot wooot.
  3. you perv...
  4. never heard of them. post a picture of them.
  5. have fun with it!!
  6. id go up another size or 2 and see what the plug looks like after that. i dont think youll need to go more than a few sizes. how was it running with the 330's? was it a little lean or rich or right on?
  7. you can never go wrong with black but good luck gettin those. my bro waited 3 months for his. silver looks tight but with stock colored frame it wont. i hate blue so i would never put blue on anything. red would look sweet with some black and chrome. its really hard to say man. alot of them would look good in alot of different color combos.
  8. never heard of them but they look pretty nice. but for 625 bucks i could have rockets, cpis or shearers way less. i doubt they run any better than those 3 pipes.
  9. i wouldnt trust a shops jetting on a dyno. arent they jetting in favorable conditions when they run them on the dyno? what if the temp is 80 degrees in the dyno booth and its 55 outside? your jetting wont be even close to right. jetting on the dyno to see how much hp you can get is fine but i would pay close attention to it after it leaves the shop. you wouldnt wanna burn up a top end becasue its too lean. you feel me?
  10. sounds pretty good man. i would check the plugs after riding for a minute. just because it was tuned on a dyno in favorable conditions doesnt mean it will be jetted correctly for your riding. i wouldreally check thngs after you ride it to make sure you arent way too lean or anything. other than that sounds like youre good to go.
  11. propane torch is the best way i think. takes just about 2 seconds to get white marks back to blue. DO NOT use an acetylene torch. they get way too hot and will make the plastic bubble.
  12. quarter mile is a long ways for a banshee. you would need some pretty tall gearing to get the best times i would think. stock banshees wont pull tall gearing so youd have to be pretty built to be pullin 17 and up front sprockets. as for times i dont know, maybe NYUK will chime in since hes into the drag racing scene. i would think most people would run the eighth with their banshees.
  13. i got mine at the local dealership for around 12 bucks. it fits my banshee and my cr500 engine so im guessin itll fit pretty much all the honda bike stators. id say its a pretty universal one.
  14. yea last winter sucked. i was pushing in one of our loaders in the back of wal mart and i hit a fuckin curb or something. i hit the fuckin door glass so fuckin hard. split my nose open and had to go get 5 stitches. that was really fun
  15. i dont know. they dont really look like theyd bite that well but i could be wrong. im sure they are pretty good all around tires tho.
  16. i would pm sredish. hes got a custom jeep i think and im sure he could help you out.
  17. then why post up whether or not you THINK you can beat one. it really doesnt matter right?
  18. that dude is fuggin nuts!
  19. someone that knows what they are doing on the cr250 will easily take you on dirt or street. your mods arent going to give you enough of an advantage to beat a cr250. if you do i want videos to prove it because otherwise i wont believe it. oh yea, i ride with a guy who has a cr250 and he will walk away from my banshees and everyone knows they are not stock. its not opinion its just simple fact that they are faster.
  20. ive got one that i extended 2 inches. it can be done very easily and cheaply. if done right they will be just as strong as any aftermarket swinger you can buy. ive put mine thru a ton of abuse and it doesnt show any signs of wear at all.
  21. im gonna have to disagree a little here. first off i would agree by saying that carbs can wait. go for a k and n filter but id use v force delta 2 reeds. they are proven and so far i dont think there is anything that will top them. im sure many hqers will attest to this. as for aftermarket head i would go with a noss head. "dlnoss" on this site can get you set up with one. as for mixing 50/50 race/pump mix i dont think you will feel much of a difference. i think stock is like 22 or 23 cc domes. if you wanna run race fuel id go for something smaller like 18 or 19cc domes. jetting should be around 310 to 340 mains and 27.5 pilots on stock carbs. all engines are different, but im at 1000 feet above sea level and thats what we have always run around here.
  22. i bought a janssen steering stem for my cr500 banshee and its sweet. built tough and looks badass. im sure the swinger will be sweet also. as for the elkas i run them and wouldnt trade them for anything. they soak up everything i put in front of them.
  23. last night in KC they got like 8 inches of snow. 50 miles north here in st joe we didnt get a single drop of anything. kinda wierd huh? 15 mins south of me got 3 inches of snow. a little strange if u ask me.
