my brother took 3rd place at the midwest championship hillclimb event. its all the best hillclimbers from missouri, kansas, illinois, minnesota, iowa and wisconsin. 4th place wasnt even close to his times and he had an 8mm stroker setup. gorr's $200 woods port was easily keeping up with my $500+ 4mm porting. and actually the bottom end to mid range was killing me. if you want an extremely reliable hard running engine for not a lot of cash i bet you wont find a better one than gorr's woods port.

sometimes mine sits for months at a time. just shake up the jug really well before you use it. i wouldnt let it sit in the bowls of your carbs that long tho.

my brother has the terra grapplers on his dakota and they seem to be pretty good tires so far. they are kinda a lower profile type tire with not much roundness to them. bad thing is that i think they are kinda expensive. you might check into them some more.

gorr does a pretty badass woods port. check him out. gorr's site i think he charges like 200 bucks for it and it runs really well.

i would go with either 9 or 10 inch itp baja t9's. these are the .190 rims with the ring rolled in the lip. rocky mountain sells them for about 100 a piece i think. tire and wheel packages wil be cheaper if u want tires too. ive heard the c series wheels arent as strong and are made more for duning than mx. for any type of mx i would recommend a reinforcement ring like in the baja t9's.

they are heavier than aluminum wheels. if ur lookin for lightweight wheels stay away from them. what kinda riding you want them for?

shorter swinger will make it more predictable and stable when jumping. it also makes taking corners easier. the shorter you go the better its gonna handle, however i can handle my +2 pretty well. if you are gonna be racing mx or runnin xc events then shorter will be better for you. the traction you will get will be even better as well. youll basically be sittin your ass right over the rear tires.

so jim is claiming that the pwk carbs are no good for his engine?? thats funny because no more than 5 months ago he was tellin me they worked great on his engine. i think someone needs to make up their mind. good luck with the jetting guys. i hope you can get it figured out unlike some of us that dont know how to jet.

Gorr's website CLICK HERE my brother has a woods port by eric gorr and its unreal fast. sredish just got his back and together and will tell you the power is unreal. for 200 bucks you cannot beat this porting. i highly recommend his work. send sredish a message if you want a second opinions and stclark04 for a 3rd opinion. id stay away from trinity if i were you. since you have cpi's you wont lose anything on top end but you will gain a massive amount of power in the bottom end and mid range. the woods port will easily pull a 17 tooth front sprockt hard from bottom to top. give it a try, you wont be disappointed.
