i just tried out my new snow tires last night and they are by far the best ive used yet. they are a set of 20x10x9 turf tamers. every other row has 2 sheet metal screws per lug and then the other row has one per lug. theres prolly 350 screws per tire and these bitches bite hard...

i agree. i really dont think a 10mm stroker is all that necessary for dune riding but thats just me. also, for play riding and messin around i would not wanna go any longer than +2 if that. im used to fuckin around on the 450 and with its short wheel base i can whip it around like no other. i dont think i could ever justify the cost of building a 10mm motor as a duner..but then again, i like riding my 450 at the dunes for playin and messin around.

ahh yea i didnt see that. more than likely a keihin carb. im guessin mabe only about a 28mm carb that still uses the stock intake boots?

i had my pred for over a year and never even got close to being beat by a raptor. i raced several of them that were piped and stomped them bad. maybe i can just ride better?? ive never seen a z400 beat one either, but thats me. i dont think ur imagining things but neither am i. u saw what u saw and i saw what i saw. honestly if polaris could shave aout 50 pounds off the pred itd be one fast ass 4 stroke.

because t6 were designed for stock port motor. we all know it doesnt take long to get some porting done. the t5s work very well with stock ported motors and ported ones. i would not even consider the t6. i would go straight with the t5 regardless of whether you are ported at this time or not.

it looks stock to me because of the rear intake boot. but some aftermarket ones may fit. what does it say on the carb? mikuni or keihin? can u get a shot from further down?

impretty sure those sprockets are the same. you can always order from RMATV. primary drive sprockets are about 7 for thefront and 15 forthe rear. def buy a new one at least. and maybe even go to 13 if u wanna try it. theyare only 7 bucks..

no..once u cut them they are really only good for going fast in a straight line..leave them uncut for general riding..

only for hillclimb. we have regular sets we run on the 450s.

my bro didnt run his Irazrs long but i did notice quite a bit of wear in that amount of time. they are a softer tire than the kendas and would be great for only trail riding. but if ur riding on the street like we do alot and on rocks the kenda knarlys would be much better..the irazrs grip very well, its too badthey are so heavy. i dont think the weight can be justified because of the grip. the kenda has nearly as much grip witha lot less weight making it the much better tire in my opiinion.

does anyone else find it wierd that cutirgirlracing knows all this about 2 stroke pipes but doesnt know if a stock predator will beat a piped kfx400???

id ask 3000 for it and then sell it to me..in all reality u could prolly get 4000 to 5000 out of it if u find the right person. any more than that and someone will more than likely just spring for a new and improved version.

a stock predator will walk all over a piped z400, kfx400, 400ex..predators have a lot of power on tap unlike those 400's. the pred has a pretty violent power hit for a 4 stroke and it pulls a long ways. those 400s dont stand a chance. even tho the pred is heavier the suspension helps to make it a pretty good runner. even if the 400 has a good rider the pred has it whooped in power and speed.

word. if u can move your clutch plates either you forgot one or your pressure plate is not sitting against the outside plate. you may need to turn it some to get it to sit in there flush. im betting you didnt get the pressure plate in there right. ive installed mine before and had to turn it some to get it to slide in there right.
