  1. Hi, I am interested in buying a Banshee in or near CT. Please let me know if you have one or know of one. I prefer it to be piped and have skid plates at the minimum. My number is (203) 906-5981. Thanks, Jeff
  2. What length swingarm is that? How much do you want for it?
  3. Hey guys, I am really torn on a quad decision. I do not know whether to keep my Banshee or get a new Raptor 700. I primarily ride trails and do some play racing with my buddy who also has a Banshee at a small track that we built by my house. I really like the Banshee, but right now the handling is killing me. Let me say I have stock shocks all around and I have the lame stock front tires . I figure either way this is going to cost me some money so do I invest in some handling mods for the shee (-1 swinger, revalved rear shock, new front shocks, and tires) or do I go and pick up a new Rappy SE get some guards and call it a day. I figure the swinger would help in the traction department and with the new shocks I could probably lower the ride height and control body roll better in the turns. I really want to try to keep the narrower stance if possible, but then again +2s would put me at the same width as a stock Raptor 700. I mean I know that Modding the Shee is the cheaper route and I love the motor! Will the above mods put me on par or slightly better than a stock SE Rappy? Sorry for the longish post, and thanks for the input. Jeff
  4. Lepew, yes this is the rubber bushing I am talking about. I'm going to try just cleaning it out and reassembling it this week. Hopefully I won't run into this problem again.
  5. Hey Guys, I was just wondering if any of you had had this happen to you. My banshee has one of the bushings that is in the steel cup partially pull out. It was originally doing this when I first bought it used off of somebody, but now I have since replaced those bearings and noticed the bushing was coming out again. This seems a bit odd and I am going to rip it apart soon to fix it again. Can anyone offer any advice to assure this stays in place? Thanks, Jeff
  6. Hey Guys, My buddy has an 03 Banshee with toomey t5s, k & n, air box lid on, and boyseen reeds. Before the K and N and reeds the thing ran like a champ! Pulled hard, and clean no burbles nothing. It had the toomey jet kit, meaning 280 mains. Now with the K and N and reeds we are using 300 mains. The pilots are 27.5s. Keep in mind this is at sea level. The problem is it will not rev in 6th. 1-5 it pulls and clears out well, but 6th it falls flat on its face. The plug color was darker. Any suggestions? Please Help. Jeff
  7. Hi guys, I decided to keep the bike after all but, as luck would have it, a circlip let go and bang. Now I need a cylinder. If any of you guys have one please let me know. PM me! I am desperate! Thanks, Jeff
  8. Just to let you know, you might be a little shy in the width department. Banshees with stock a-arms are 43.3" wide. For what its worth I have a Chevy S-10 step side and it barely squeezes in there, and I really mean barely! Make sure you look into it. Also, I'd be wary of the inline 5 cylinder engine, thats just my .02.
  9. I think his handle is passionre, but check out http://www.passionracingengines.com/. Some sick motors!
  10. With or Without Rezzies and stock length arms or +2s?
  11. How about a 2001 KX 125 + Cash? -Jeff
  12. Will trade + cash for some Banshee parts though. I'm looking for a -1 or -2 swinger and some aftermarket front shocks.
  13. No thanks man, we don't get that much snow around here so the banshee stays in comission all year.
  14. How long do the chain slides last? Because I just replaced my roller for $5. I don't know if I could justify spending $30 for a slide when I could get 6 rollers for the same price.
