  2. whats your setup man? that sounds like it might be a little rich. whats the temp there?
  3. check this place out.. i hear about them a lot.. www.boondockers.com
  4. alba sucks the pete dogg.
  5. no fuckin way.
  6. thats an expensive setup right there!!
  7. i use bel-ray 10w-40 in my tranny.
  8. thats just insane man...
  9. you need to be runnin a 14 tooth front with that setup unless you weigh 300 pounds. as for jetting, ive found that most PWK carbs run about the same. ive always run 160 mains, 45 pilot at 1000 feet elevation. thats with 19-21 cc domes on race fuel.
  10. i always get the D.I.D. x-ring chains. unless youre lookin for every last HP the chain isnt gonna make a difference. apparantly some chains will make more or less Hp on a dyno.
  11. well why dont you at least PM him and see what he says?
  12. call FAST 1-785-364-5325
  13. depends. whats the reason for the rebuild? are the cylinder walls all messed up?
  14. it goes Height/width/wheel size... what the hell tire did you find that has a wheel size of 7 inches? where did you order from? rockymountainatv.com has the best tire/wheels packages around.
  15. 87-89 frames were j-arm frames. the 90-present are a arm frames. as for he spindle itself i dont know the difference. i just know that the first 3 years used j-arms.
  16. skip on the PD head and go with a NOSShead. pm "dlnoss" here on the hq and he will get you set up with the correct domes and tell you what you need to run as far as timing and octane.
  17. 1800 is about right for your area. i can pick up 2001 nice running banshees all day long here for 1500 to 2000. if its in good shape, has good compression and you like it, offer him 1600 and see what he says. might be able to get it for less than 1800.
  18. you can, but you dont necessarily need it. how much wider is the front than the back? do you have flipped rims on the rear? that can add some width without spending any money.
  19. go with t5's. youll be money ahead. i would ride it stock for a while, then mod the hell out of it. remember, a lot of guys on here have prolly already done everything you wanna do. ask questions...save money..
  20. absolutely it can. whats your setup consist of?
  21. stick with dual carbs. thats whats meant to be on there.
  22. i dont know why everyone makes a big deal about it. that site sucks, plain and simple. from now on im deleting PS threads on here. i dont wanna give them any free publicity, even if its bad publicity.
  23. yep thats the dude. guy is a real asshole too. thought he was so great that he was mouthing about how great he was at the trophy ceremony. truth be told, he isnt that fast cuz me and my brother ran damn near as fast as him and we ran in pure fuckin mud. anytime, anywhere id run his ass again and stomp him. i doubt i hit nationals ever again. its a joke as far as im concerned. until they change the format to reflect skill and consistency instead of luck or in my case, bad luck i wont be attending again. here is the results from that climb.. Place Name Bike 1st run 2nd run 1 Wilson, Frank Suzuki 7.73 140' 0" 2 Clark, Stephen T. Yamaha 8.006 10.214 3 Clark, Tyler D. Yamaha 8.135 9.359 i guess i thought more guys didnt make it up the hill than what actually happened. a lot did, times were slow as fuck though. my time on the 2nd day was the fastest, and it was all muddy and shit.
  24. whats up cory!! how you been man? havent seen you around in a while. been riding at all? man i gotta get a new crank for my 10mm and then i can get it running. shits expensive though!!
