  1. what is there to need to know? all i know is that i could climb any of those hills with a set of kenda knarlys.. i just dont see the need for those huge ass tires.
  2. borrow some.. surely someone has a set.. i do what i can to help..
  3. whats the matter pussy? dont wanna take my $20 from me? scared you CANT do it with another tire? youre weak.. that post proves it. my offer still stands.. $20 to the guy who climbs that hill with a set of kenda knarlys and gets it on video.. someone step up and do this shit, because blessed is too scared.. he knows he isnt a good rider and that without his 4x4 swampers he cant make that hill.. someone prove to him and everyone else that it can be done with a set of kenda knarlys so these PA hillbilly fucks will shut up..
  4. yamalube...weedeater oil... whats the difference? yamalube is junk.
  5. unlike you pabanshee, i would not buy a degree key...so there would be nothing to tell.
  6. word.
  7. where the fucks my grille!!!!
  8. wouldnt you shit yourself if i came there, and climbed that fucking hill with a set of uncut kenda knarlys? what would you say then? because i would be willing to bet that my 10mm cub motor would have enough "tire spin" to climb that hill with a set of knarlys.. as a matter of fact, since im not close enough to come do it myself... i have $20 bucks to the first person who climbs that hill on a set of knarlys.. come on now.. i know someone wants to take this challenge and prove that coal hill CAN be climbed on something other than some ridiculous, oversized 4x4 tires... just do it, and film it..
  9. i dont live anywhere near st. joe state park.. thats over on the east side of missouri, im on the west side.. you can buy klotz anywhere.. most yamaha dealerships even have it. otherwise, call FAST at 785-364-5325..
  10. no, im referring to a WOT plug test... paddle, i would first raise the pilot.. see what happens. make one change at a time so that you can see how your bike responds to each jetting change.
  11. so if youre saying that a WOT plug check is unreliable, how are we to know that a plug chop is?? so at 5 sizes too lean, you hadnt blown a motor, correct? how do you know that the WOT plug check isnt more reliable than a plug chop? sounds to me like there is a flaw with the plug chop method if it will run fine and not blow up at 5 sizes lean.. what im saying is that, neither method obviously provides perfect results.. youre saying that the plug chop is THE method as far as checking jetting. i say its flawed simply because, youre bike WILL run, and not blow up at 5 sizes leaner main. how do you know that the plug chop is not incorrect, and that youre now running rich?
  12. you have any idea who built the motor? something is def not right there...
  13. im not familiar with that oil.. im not so sure i would trust something that says, "leaner jetting may be required." maybe you should switch to klotz..
  14. what kind of rings did you get? did you go with a whole piston/ring set??
  15. well you dont need the whole head, just the dome.. why was it hitting the dome? i dont think its possible for the crank to move that much to where the piston would hit the dome. remember you have 2 bearings in the middle of the cases too. those would keep the crank stationary, even if the outer bearing went out. have you noticed any unusual vibrating in the motor??
  16. have you checked the two tabs your coil bolts to? those tabs have to be bare metal.. thats how the coil is grounded. i bet yours are rusted...
  17. i doubt they will bolt right up.. but with a welder anything is possible. why do you want to do this?
  18. post back with results.
  19. i see. yea, that brake drag and jetting could have hurt you.. 15/42 should be more than enough gearing with your mods to beat any stock 450 4 stroke. play with this thing to see where you might want your gearing.. http://home.earthlink.net/~gellett/banshee.htm
  20. thats a fuckin steal for all you get.
  21. did you do a WOT plug test to see what your plugs look like? as for your bottom end, i would be running a 27.5 in that. almost every non-stock piped banshee ive ever seen required a 27.5 pilot.
  22. well bottom line now is that its not gonna run with 60psi in one cylinder. it has to be torn down.
  23. so you replaced the plug caps, but not the whole coil? sounds like your coil could be bad. what does your spark look like? weak spark? good spark?
  24. first off, try to use some punctuation in your posts. it will help people read your post easier and it will help you get more responses.. second, that 60psi is a problem. that isnt enough compression for your bike to be firing in that cylinder. sounds like you have a hole in your piston. tear it down and post some pictures or a good explanation as to what you find.. then you need to determine what caused this.. possibly a plugged carb? maybe something didnt get puck together right to begin with?
  25. what kind of riding are you doing?
