  1. im cool as a cucumber.
  2. do you really think that if one of these guys keys broke we would hear about it on HQ? i highly doubt after all the degree key threads would any of these guys actually post a failure.. that shit would be labeled classified and stored with the rest of the CIA files.
  3. ohh well i didnt know i was an expert, but clearly good enough to jet my bike NOT using a plug chop.. this was supposed to be a post with discussion, so im trying to find out why people do them, or think they are necessary. well i was targeted specifically as saying they arent needed or necessary, so im trying to find all the reasons why people think they are necessary.. so far i have that, if you dont do them youll blow a motor and to find out your bike is lean.. those are both lame fucking reasons as far as im concerned.. so shut your fucking mouth you dickbag, worthless, non contributing motherfucker.. if i wanna be the damn prosecutor in a post where i was specifically targeted i will be. so far, i havent been given one real reason why they are better than a regular WOT plug test. seems like the only guys who even do them are the ones from PA. either that or no one else wants to speak up and give their reasoning.
  4. so youre saying, that if you dont do a plug chop you will blow a motor? or you cant tune by just looking at the electrode, so you do a plug chop? or plug chops are essential or everyone will blow their motor?
  5. jesus fuckin christ.. you cant be serious that these are the only tires that will make it up those coal hills.. there has got to be a cheaper, lighter alternative to these things.
  6. as long as your impeller didnt melt, it should be fine.
  7. your coolant level should not drop.
  8. what are you talking about? youre not supposed to just run through some woods, and then check your plugs.. a WOT plug check is where the bike is good and warm. you run it up through the gears to 4th or 5th, run it wide open for a few seconds and then shut the bike down and coast to a stop.. then check your plugs.. who taught you to do a WOT plug check that way? that doesnt even make sense. plug chops are NOT essential, or even necessary.. if so, then how come ive never blown up a bike? not to mention the countless other people who dont do them? we are all just lucky i guess??
  9. ive never done one, never will.. so far the only reason i have seen anyone state is so that you dont run your bike lean and blow up a motor.. so is a lean condition the only thing youre looking for? are you saying i could be running lean so i should check mine? ive been running the same jetting for 3 years now, and it runs like a fuckin top.. so since it hasnt blown up, it sure cant be lean.. so is there any reason for me to do a plug chop? all my jetting changes have always been done by looking at the electrode. when i put my motor together i started with 165 mains and 48 pilot. i settled on 160 main and 45 pilot, just by doing WOT plug checks..
  10. why not try a set of kenda knarly?
  11. no way its quicker.. you have to cut the plug to do it.. i just think its a waste of time for something that can be told by just looking at the electrode.
  12. PM FASTOYS here on the site and he can get you hooked up..
  13. kenda knarly or stock yfz450 tires.. they are both cheap, lightweight and very durable. i run them on the road, hardpack, mud, sand and rocks.. ive never had an issue with either tire.
  14. ive never understood the point of a plug chop.. what is it gonna tell you that lookin at the electrode on the spark plug wont? ive never in my life done a plug chop and never had an issue with jetting. can anyone explain to me the benefit of a plug chop and ruining a plug or two?
  15. i agree about starting with 160 main, the needle and air screw.. i think youre gonna be lower on the pilot though at a 45.. cant hurt to start with a 48 though.
  16. take your time is the biggest thing. you dont wanna get in a hurry and forget something. use your clymer manual. it has everything you need to know in it.. also, dont be afraid to ask questions here..
  17. its all about the stickers and free t shirts.. whoever sends me free shit gets my business.. just so happens i have several FAST stickers and a couple FAST shirts...
  18. sometimes at night, when no one else is on the site.. i post in topics, then delete the posts to get my count higher.. just kidding.. but not really... i wish higher post count gave you a bigger REAL cock.. cuz im hung like a field mouse..
  19. maybe you need to pull your clutch cover and check this thing... its the adjuster for your shift shaft. it could be adjusted wrong. by the sounds of it, easy downshifting but problems upshifting.. the other thing is that maybe you have more power than you think and its just hard to shift up like 4mm and big motors. heres that adjuster. i think you should check it before tearing the cases apart.
  20. what kinda riding are you doing?
  21. sunoco 110. i paid 34 bucks for 5 gallons last week.
  22. mine would look way worse than that.. i dont know anything about porting.
  23. yes they have to be split. so it wont shift at all? or do you have to let all the way off the gas first?
  24. that could be the work of anyone..
