  1. dude, do what you want. ive given you the best advice here i can. in the end its your choice on what to run. you may or may not like any of the tires mentioned in this thread.. never know until you try.. thats why ive tried them all. now i know.
  2. ive run them. they are heavy, expensive, dont hook very hard and wear out prematurely. like i said, most of the big name tires are junk.. they just have good marketing behind them. people get brainwashed into thinking they are the best tires out there.
  3. i havent had time to test them on the road yet, so your guess is as good as mine. they look like they would hold up well, but who really knows. with these tires, i seriously doubt youd need to go shorter on your swingarm. they hook like crazy. i would steer away from 22's. stick with the 20's. i dont think you will regret going with the ohtsus and FAST is a good place to get them. support the site sponsors!
  4. they are dunlops. i dont know the exact number. yes, they are a 20" tire.
  5. ive run them. i ran them for a while as i thought they were good tires, until i got into hillclimbing. then i started buying and testing tires. ive run almost every dirt tire there is. all the "popular" tires fail to meet my expectations. fast trekkers are too short, have a tread pattern that does not hook very well and they wear quickly if you ride any type of paved road. here is my list of locogato approved tires(in no particular order): 1. ohtsu radials - reasonably priced. not too heavy. hook very hard. 2. stock yfz450 tires - can be bought for almost nothing. wear well even on road riding. hook hard at lower psi. very lightweight. 3. cut kenda knarlys (for straight line dragging or hillclimbing)- the king of hooking hard on dirt. no other tires compare to the hook these tires will provide you run at 1 - 4 psi. lugs are hard as to prevent "rolling over". wear well due to harder lug. light weight. priced well.
  6. razr 2's are junk. overrated and overpriced.. the only reason they are so "popular" is because they have one hell of a hype machine called the razr marketing dept behind them.. these are real tires. they hook hard as fuck on all types of dirt. my brother just got a set of them and weve tried them out. they are the real deal. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=174
  7. workin on it homie! im gonna check with lee and see if we cant change the background color. i dont like it either.. but to upgrade this is what i had to use.. surely theres a way to change the damn color.
  8. id go ahead and rule out the banshee and the warrior. i dont think a guy your size would be happy on either.. of the three i would go with a raptor 700. they seem to have pretty decent power and are a little bigger bike than the other two. they can be modded to run pretty good and there are plenty of aftermarket parts out there for them.
  9. whats wrong with it? just the little piece missing? mines been like that for 2 years now with no issues.
  10. flatslides are mikunis right? so the jetting should go in the same increments as stock carbs? is that right? if so, id try a 27.5 pilot and 310 mains..
  11. yo, first off, turn off your caps lock. that shit is hard to read. second, try using some punctuation to separate your thoughts. itll be easier for people to help you. third, be specific. what is the bike doing? what do the plugs look like? what are all your mods, elevation and temperature? the more info, the better.. be detailed and clear.
  12. yo, dont run that with stock jetting, especially WOT!! you need 27.5 pilot and start with a 300 main and work from there. the pilot is for sure, but you might need to lean out from 300..
  13. what do your plugs look like? sounds like you might have gone up too much. maybe your 155 was already too rich for your fattys.
  14. stock carbs? 27.5 pilot and start with 300 mains and work from there.
  15. we need to know: 1. all mods 2. current jetting 3. elevation 4. temperate how does it run? what is it doing? be detailed.
  16. rears are easy. front requires you to take off the caliper. once off, you can pull the hub off after the nut comes off. then you would have to take off the rotor and take out the bearings to have them PCed.
  17. i like any cheap ol 10w40 for mine.
  18. yep. is there any government business out there that isnt a worthless piece of shit? we all know the post office will probably need a bailout in the next couple years, but hey, lets raise stamp prices!! fuckin retards. isnt it simple economics that if the demand is down, price will soon follow? usps seems to be going in opposite directions of that.
  19. ive been reading that the good ol government isnt paying the dealerships for the junk vehicles.. soo, where did the money for that program go?
  20. welcome bro. i was just up your way at the ama national hillclimb in new ulm.
  21. overpriced. overrated. underpowered. terrible customer service. use some of the site sponsors here. they are the best in the business.
  22. sorry rob, we have reached our limit on members named rob.. im gonna need you to change your real name to something else. just kidding.. welcome to HQ
