its not really gonna hurt anything, but it could actually affect performance.

if i thought you could get some rockets, id say them for sure... otherwise in this case i think youre better off with cpi. shearers are peaky and hit hard on the top end. cpi will be more broad.

why is it leaking? something on the tire or the rim? i dont know about putting a tube in there. you could try using some tire slime. those tires should prolly be run about 4-6 psi.

depending on the years, the newer banshees had 14/41 stock gearing. what is it that youre trying to accomplish? your gears have nothing to do with your bottom end.

what do the circlips have to do with the topend? you need to be more clear here, as i think youre confused about something.

i have always split the cases to install new seals, but have heard of people doing it without splitting them.. that said, chances are if one needs replaced, they both do. youd be money ahead to just tear the bottom end down and replace all the seals. that way, you know its good to go.

compression test will be a good indicator of whats going on. post back when you get the results.

i think i know where youre going with this... i think that most people here dont use anyone but the site sponsors or rockymountainatv.com. might be a few people using motosport.com, but im sure with less frequency than the others. i buy riding gear and what not from rmatv.com but anything else would come from a site sponsor, even if it cost a little more.. i dont like lining the pockets of people like dennis kirk.

i dont know if they make a banshee specific cover or not, but im sure any of the covers for the big 4x4 utility quads would work.

id pull the carb and clean the jets. if the pilot is not clogged, then id go up one size on the pilot. make sure your air filter is good and clean and secure.

have you done a compression check? it could be that your compression is way too low causing it to start hard. thatd be my first thing to check. stock banshee cylinders are not plated.

id shoot andy at M&M a message and see what he recommends. if he built the motor, he will know what your best options are. 7mm is a pointless stroke, considering 10mm is the same money.. but both are considerably more money than the 4mm because of the price of the crank and case trenching.
