  1. ok so i have fattys no lid with k&n. i am at 1300 ft at home and run 300 mains. mostly ride at oregon coast and was a lil fat at the bottom but not too bad. so my cdi went out and i got an after market one by AMR racing stage 2. tried to get a timing curve but no luck. i have added a timing plate an cool head with 19cc domes. 160lbs compression an a dead cold engine.can i still run +4 degrees timing? and how much should i jump jetting? oh and am going to run 50/50 race fuel. any in put would be greatly appreaceted!!!
  2. i bought a noss cool head on ebay and got 19cc and 22cc domes with it. stock bore and storke. fmf fattys with k and n filter. live at 2500ft but mostly ride at oregon dunes. my timing is +4 . dont want to run full race gas, cost to much here. is octane boost crap? whats the lowest cc i can go on pump gas. its oxegenated here during winter an 92 octaine
  3. check that the equilizer tube between the carbs is on prpoerly an not cracked. thats what happened when mine got a crack in it.

  5. so i bought my kid a grizzly 80. they said it just needed a spark plug. so i got a new one an it fired up but it will only stay running with the choke on. when u turn it off it dies and acts like its getting no gas. u guys are smarter then the ass monkeys where i live that want 100$ an hr just to look at it. any ideas would be greatly apprecaited! thanks Jason
  6. so i just got an 01 banshee. it has a k&n and fmf fatty pipes. my gf just got an 03 raptor 660 with a k&n and a white bros pipe. shes about 125 lbs lighter then me. we raced on gravel and pavement. i gave her a slight 5ft start and all through the gears we were neck and neck till i hit 6th gear and i shot by her. i have had a yfz and a 450r. i know they were faster but i thought the banshee would be faster. did i expect too much? think it needs a rebuild? i have not tested the compression yet but it starts on the 1st kick every time so i thought it would be ok. thanks Jason
  7. ok i changed the head gasket today. i have the air box lid on but it has holes drilled in it but the coolant lid was on tite and no viseable loss in coolant. kinda wierd lol. hope its fixed now though . thanks a lot Jason
  8. my newly aquired banshee was running like crap at high altitude ( fat jetting) but when i got home to clean k&N i found antifreeze in the air box. bad head gasket?
