  1. is the motor just falling on its face due to too high of gearing and not enough power? what is your gearing, swingarm length, tires, rider weight and mods to the motor?
  2. i have never in my 10 years riding banshees seen one of those. im wondering if thats a one off custom piece.
  3. i run thor goggles. they seem to do pretty well.
  4. hahaha.. there are TONS if internal issues here. not really. its just that a lot of these guys have been around for a long time and give each other shit. glad you like the site man!
  5. why did you post this here goofball? welcome to HQ im moving this to the gen disc forum..
  6. ive never heard of anyone running them unless its a full on drag bike. most guys i know with drag motors still have stock style ignition.
  7. i know.. what a fuckin tard right?
  8. i agree. stick with a 4/1 or 3/2 rim and go with a +2/+1 arm. i would not flip rims or use wheel spacers.
  9. haha you got an elka on your arm? thats gangster..
  10. yea i know alot of people should expecially this hilarious joker that should of done sum good research on the 4mil motor that he bought he would know it was a 4mil motor with blaster pistons in it if he would know anything about them he would know if he put a banshee piston in the motor the piston would come up out of the cylinder but he just wants to get on here and run his jabberjaw about sumone that he shouldnt be are you fucking retarded? what dont you understand about what happened here? the motor was advertised as a 4mm motor. hilarious received the motor and didnt mess with it for a month or so. when he finally pulled it apart, he finds out its a STOCK STROKE motor. at this point in time he contacts messer007 about the issue and at that time messer007 basically tells him to get fucked. messer, knowingly or not, falsely advertised the stroke of the motor. messer shouldve ponied up some money to make it right, but he doesnt and thats that. i will not have members on here doing shit like that. since youre so fucking smart, on what grounds should hilarious be banned? because he is smarter than you or because he got fucked over? dumbass. shut your mouth.
  11. FTW = for the win
  12. ummm, theres something wrong with this one..
  13. i agree with jim. it doesnt sound like you really need the elkas and i doubt you will ever be able to tell the difference between them and the 450 shocks for what youre doing. you can save yourself some money by going with the used 450 shocks and a +2 arm.
  14. i agree about staying away from the supercub motor unless the intake was set up for the bigger reeds. in this scenario, i would go with a plain 7mm cub motor. it will be the cheapest, quickest turnaround on it. im not against the twister cylinders at all but i think if i wanna gonna build one i would go bigger(than 7mm) once and be done with it. its obviously going to be the more expensive and time consuming build. if youre not worried about that, then go for it.. only problem i see is time of year right now. this is about the worst time of the year to start a motor build like that due to everyones riding seasons starting up in the next couple of months. if you wanna be riding quickly, go with the 7mm cub motor.
  15. why a streetbike motor instead of a banshee motor? i can tell you that for all the hassle of putting this motor in there, its not going to be worth it. its going to be heavy and handle like shit. it also isnt going to be that fast. i hope youre prepared to get beat by mildly modded banshees.
  16. GTFO = get the fuck out WTB = want to buy lmao = laughing my ass off lol = laughing out loud STFU = shut the fuck up WTF = what the fuck
  17. i agree with the FAST clutch..
  18. how much gas is in the tank? did you try the reserve?
  19. no problem..
  20. i know it takes a lot less work to get the cub motors to run hard. the twister cylinders require a lot more porting and not everyone can build them to get the most power from them. i would go with a cheetah cylinder.
  21. thats pretty cool lookin. you have any bigger pics? what kind of swingarm is that?
  22. hahahaha
  23. are you starting from scratch or what? why a 7mm motor?
  24. whats up man? welcome to HQ are these mikunis or keihins? measure the inside of the cylinder side of the carb. you can measure it in inches.. here are some common carb sizes and their inch conversion.. 26mm - 1.02 inches 28mm - 1.1 inches 30mm - 1.18 inches 33mm - 1.29 inches 35mm - 1.37
