  1. If Takai had any decent customer service standards, they will be sitting Mark down and having a rather strict talk with him. The way he comes off in this thread makes Takai look like a bunch of assholes. If I owned the company, I'd be pissed at the way he conducted himself here.
  2. I am seriously thinking about sending a link to this thread to Takai..
  3. I'll ban the guy. I agree, people like him aren't needed on BansheeHQ.
  4. Hahaha. Hook, line and sinker. I'm a fucking genius.
  5. I thought I'd go ahead and break down your post. This is a great opening line. The fact that you graced us with your god-like presence is amazing to me. So you just picked some random Banshee rider to test your $550 coils? You're such a huge company that you can't afford some "professionals" to do some testing? Banshees are a dime a dozen which shouldn't be any big deal for such a big time company to purchase. So you won't release "cheap" products, but you will do cheap testing? Sounds a little bit contradictory. It's all or nothing, but you have some no name person testing your high dollar products. Am I getting this right? Cost is no object, but Takai won't spend the money for dyno testing and real world testing with a "professional?" How can you gaurantee I won't get the same results with Takai as I would with a Nology or stock coil? You haven't done the dyno testing or any real world testing, so that claim is 100% false. You can gaurantee NOTHING. Oh really? The fouling doesn't have anything to do with the jetting being off? Right. So let me get this straight... These so called professionals with these big race teams go strictly on your WORD? They don't care about dyno numbers to compare products? You're just that good of a salesmen that you can say, "Look guys, this is the BEST product around so you should buy it?" I don't buy that for a minute. Professional race teams want to see an increae in performance, not just an increase in your mouth moving, which is all you've managed to do here. Sorry to burst your bubble..Actually, I'm not sorry. That shit won't fly in this industry. The Banshee aftermarket industry is HUGE. If you can't provide anything more than your word, you might as well get out now. And you're not fooling anyone with your R&D nonsense. The consumers are paying for it, so don't act like Takai is just eating it. They wouldn't be in business if that were the case. To act like Takai is just pissing away money so that race teams have the best parts is utterly ridiculous. Get real, this is 2011.. $550 is NOT a deal to anyone on this planet unless they are going to net some serious horsepower increase, which as this point in time, you can't prove that they do. Your word is not good enough for me, my members or anyone else in the ATV industry. Mark my words Mark, without the dyno charts showing there is a point in spending the money, you will sell none of these coil set ups. Mark, you should probably leave the PR work for the professonals, because you are terrible at coming off like you give a shit about the people you're trying to sell products to. In case you wanted to know, my name is Tyler. I own and operate BansheeHQ.com, the world's largest Banshee website. I will definitely let as many people a I can know what kind of company Takai is and how our support means dick to them.
  6. Wow, what a great first post Mark. Now BansheeHQ members know the following... 1. You're a pretentious dickhead. 2. Takai doesn't give a shit about the "little guy." 3. Dynos don't mean shit to factory race teams. You can take your "super coils" and fuck off.
  7. You're fucking kidding me right? So you started THIS thread to direct people towards your for sale thread? The ONLY reason I am not deleting this is because people will say funny shit in here.
  8. Who? I heard the guy is a fat rollie pollie type dude.
  9. That's cool man. I agree, no ATV is climbing the PRO hill. I did have a buddy that has run the 500' hill. Thanks for the history lesson!
  10. Maybe you picked the wrong 4-stroke platform to use for this conversion. Surely there are better options out there that don't require cutting the frame in half.
  11. 10mm Cub on gas with +6 arm. You should have no issues..
  12. Yes, that's EXACTLY what he's saying.
  13. Sounds to me like you have an air leak. You should be at least 270 mains in these colder temperatures.
  14. No one is mad. Everyone is skeptical. End of story.
  15. Shit! I had to pay for them Rockets but I had confidence in them. Plus, a lot of people knew the Rockets were basically an inframe version of the GRR out frame pipes. So they weren't exactly some brand new product no one had ever heard of. I had both inframe and outframe in hand and the stampings were nearly identical. And without even testing you knew that Rockets would put 5-10 if not more HP on stock pipes. I highly doubt that these new coils will put that out over stock, but we'll see. And I'm sure Tom had done his own testing with the Rockets long before he ever released them to the public, unlike Takai.
  16. You have to forgive us for being very skeptical. Some of the people on this website have been around Banshees since the beginning. They have seen tons of products come and go. The mere fact that no one has ever heard of this and that there are no dyno sheets from the company itself doesn't help clear up the skepticism.
  17. This is what i sent him.. Your title says this is a costume Banshee? Did it dress up for Halloween or what? What is underneath the costume? It's not that scary for a costume Banshee, but maybe underneath it is? Very interested as I've never seen a fully costumed Banshee before. Thanks
  18. Does anyone else not understand why Takai wouldn't have just tested and dynoed this setup themselves? Why on earth would you release a product with out any concrete evidence that it even does anything besides make you $550 poorer. I'm betting this whole set up is going to be a flop and we will never hear about it again. No grounds? How is that even supposed to work?
  19. For $550, what kind of HP increase would everyone want to see? I think at LEAST 5HP before anyone would even consider buying them.
  20. I haven't seen a sicker YFZ450r that bbc's! That mofo is flat out gangster! I have also personally seen the EFI YFZ's go for less than $4,000 in the KC area. You can find the 2008 and older for less than $3,000. I guess it just depends on what you wanna spend.
  21. I bought my 2006 YFZ450 brand new in February 2006. Since then I have had the valves checked once and in 2009 I put a piston in it because I figured it was due. These bikes are bulletproof. If I can't fuck it up, chances are someone else won't be able to either.
  22. Well if you're going to dyno test this setup against stock, then that will tell us more than just going out and riding it. I was under the impression you were just going by how it felt to you after installation. What difference does it make how the coils are installed? Also, I see someone registered the name Takai earlier. They don't intend on posting in here?
  23. Like I told you in the PM, without dyno sheets proving this kit is worth $500, they are wasting their time. NO ONE is going to spend that kind of money without some sort of proof. And with all due respect, your "testing" isn't going to mean or prove anything to anyone.
