  1. Not now. I just want to get a general idea of how many. Ideally, everyone would just send me money before we go down so I can keep track better. It's a pain to get down there and have to deal with cash and all that shit. If I get payment and a list together, I can have them marked and ready when we get there.
  2. Funny you say that, because he definitely doesn't have any horns...
  3. Try ATV Galaxy. They're running great deals on suspension components and you get a discount I believe for being a BansheeHQ member.
  4. I have had several people ask me about a shirt for this year's ride. Who would be interested in one or more? Please post sizes and quantities that you'd like. The shirts will be black. Color ideas? I was thinking some yellow/metallic silver logos.. Let me know.
  5. I don't know. Kind of looks like a RPM.
  6. Green hit everything perfectly. I agree with him 100%. Sand drag racing has the LEAST protection with probably the MOST potential for disaster. Furthermore, I think Green and I have discussed the sponsor part before. Any major ATV race backed by the AMA has very strict rules. I don't agree with a lot of what the AMA does, but they do want to protect their riders. They also pull in some good sponsors because their race series look professional. Monster sponsored the 2011 National Hillclimb and gave away a ton of free shit. I'd like to see a sand drag event pull that type of high profile sponsor with the current rules and regulations. It's just not going to happen. Basically, wearing safety gear not only protects the riders, but it makes the organization look professionally run. It's a win win for all parties involved.
  7. He sends me pics of his wife when I buy parts. She's niiiiice.
  8. You're a grade A moron. What do you think the percentage of sand drag racers is that wears all that shit, Mr. Genius?
  9. The fuck you can't. Did you not read my post? There are MANY safety devices that can and will help in a wreck. They may not save everyone, but they would be a good start.
  10. That's actually more than most as far as I can tell.
  11. Take a look at ANY other type of dirt bike or ATV racing.. Many are AMA sanctioned. Helmets. Riding boots. Chest protector. Gloves. Goggles. Neck braces. I'm not saying the kid would have survived with all that, but if I had to put money on it I'd bet that he was wearing a helmet, tennis shoes, jeans and a t-shirt. This is the EXACT reason ATV drag racing never hit the big time like some of the other types of racing. No big organization is going to back a race series that allows the minimal gear like ATV drag racing does.
  12. Have you ever seen what the majority of drag racers wear for safety gear? It's called a helmet.
  13. Looks good. Nice and clean.
  14. Is that where the owner of BS was sending pics of his dingaling to that chick whose YFZ he destroyed?
  15. Agreed. When your bike is bouncing a foot off the ground, it's time for real suspension.
  16. Fuck yea!
  17. I wasn't referring to you at all.
  18. I think that's quite possible. When I was there in February Cameron had a 10mm crank on hand, that he actually sold the day I showed up. It's probably hit and miss on parts. I know most builders don't stock 10 of everything, but they do keep at least one on hand just in case. The 10mm Cub is a pretty common motors these days. I'm guessing you hit Cam at just the right time. When you're dealing with cranks, you had better be prepared to wait. CW has horrible lead times. Even for the builders, they can take months. All of our billet cased DMs were 4-5 month builds. Cylinder, crank and cases all took a long time. That's just how it is. 535 Cheetah isn't a fucking 4mm Cub with cranks, pistons and cylinders readily available. I applaud Jim for doing the RIGHT thing and getting the rods changed, even though it's taking longer than the customer wants. He should be commended for that, not ragged on by a bunch of fucking idiots that think they should have custom built motors in a week.
  19. Yep, I'd pull out $2,500 cash and see if he goes for it. That 2006 is clean. Fuck that pile of shit bike.
  20. I'd go for the 2006. Fuck a title.
