    ITP Sandstars?

I am making my first trip to Silver lake this summer and need help picking a paddle tire. I have a mildy mannered banshee and RZ shee that are coming along and from doing a search it looks like the 8 paddle, v-design and 20x11x10 is where I am heading. I do not need to spend alot on tires since I will probably only use them 1 time per year. I like the design of the ITP sandstars and the price at $50.00 each with no shipping sounds good. Unfortunately I have not seen too many view points on there performance. Does anyone have any info on these tires or have used them? Thanks for the help. Chris

    Dynatek

Dear HQ members, I wanted to take a moment and show my support for the exceptional customer service shown towards by myself by the team at Dynatek. As many on this sight know Dynatek is highly recommended and supported by us HQ members for the performance of there products. Along with this performance I speak very highly of there customer support team. I had a minor issue that the Dynatek team took care of in a timely and professional manner. The type of service I was given was beyond what I was looking for and feel Dynatek should be commended for there support. Like the rest of the HQ members using Dynatek products I will be a long time supporter and appreciate the performance and service that Dynatek has for there customers. Chris Yax
  5. bump!
  6. Are the Pro-x piston pin clips all the same size or are they piston size specific? I don't see how this can be but thought I would ask. Happy Easter Thanks Chris
  7. I vote CDI, I have 3 go in the past 15 years and everyone did soemthing different 1st one just quit 2nd one caused the motor to start breaking up when temp was over 70% (Ya I know that sounds funny but true) 3rd I am not sure, but quit Chris
  8. I didn't think I used that much loctite but maybe I did. The reason why I think the loctite ran is because before I snugged up the top screws I tipped up the cases to get the bottom nuts , thus causing the locktite to run between the case halves. Chris
  9. Broke, I am referring to the small 6 mm bolts that screw in from the top of the case and into the bottom portion. Chris
  10. All, After assembling my crank cases last night I noticed that some of the locktite pushed out with the Yamabond. Is this a problem that would cause an eventual leak?? Thanks Chris
  11. Thanks guys, I can always count on you both for your RZ support. Chris
  12. Guys, I am looking to buy new cases for the RZ. I have heard that they no longer make RZ cases and even if they did I wouild not spend $700.00 +. So keeping in mind that new RZ cases are unavailable I cheked an onliine fiche and noticed that the RZ case number and the shee case part number are not the same. Has anyone used all the RZ components in the shee cases? Chris
  13. Are you talking Mikuni's?. I bought a new pair of 28 FS Miknunis for $180 total from parts unlimited. Chris
  14. Ok, thanks for all your help. Chris
  15. Ok, Thanks guys, So the next question is where can I fine new RZ shift forks? Per the Yamaha Fische I looked at last night the RZ diagrahm now calls out the shee shift fork part number. Thanks Chris
  16. Guys, While looking at my shee shift forks they appear to be a bit worn and need to be replaced. Since I am replacing the foks I am wondering if the RZ forks will work on the Shee drum? From what I have read most people replace both but am not sure if this is necessary. If replacing both is required is the improved shifting from the forks, drum or the combination. Please help. Thanks for your help Chris
  17. Looks nice, I can't wait for mine to comein. It is due in May. Will be RZ powered Chris

    Intake boots

Are you referring to Mikuni's or Keihn's? If Mikuni's you will see that the OD on the intake is smaller than the stock 26 ers. I have 2 sets of them and am currently getting some sleeves made up to pick up some room. Chris
  19. Try negotiating with some of the large Yamaha dealers. Last year I got a price of around $360 from Tracy's Yamaha in PA. Chris
  20. D&D has some experience with banshees. I used to ride with one of the cousins in the family that used to work at D&D. He had a pretty hot banshee. His name is Dennis and last I knew worked at Nesco's in Gouverneur. Give him a call and tell him I sent you. Chris
  21. PSi is one of the elite few when it comes to design and the manufacturing of high performance engines. Unfortunately they are 99 % sleds and not really big into quads, However I have a PSI ported shee and I kick alot of ass at the drags and the bike just runs incredible. Last time I knew there adjustable heads ran about $500.00 and for most an adjustable head is not necessary. Chris
  22. Thanks for the info. I tried Sudco and no luck. I have an e-mail out to Moto carrera and awaiting a response. I am now going to try the UPP web site to see if they have a smaller ID boot. Please keep the suggestions coming. Thanks Chris
  23. Oh common guys, I can't believe no on other than myself has seen such a product. Chris
  24. Thanks for the infor, PM sent. Chris
  25. What kind of bike are the front rims off of? If off a banshee and are aluminum in color please send pics. Thanks Chris
