    FMF Sparky's

I was looking for a bolt on. This is a big problem. Since my FMF's do not have the end cap you are saying that I am going to have to buy new silencers? or is there a generic mate that I can buy. Chris

    FMF Sparky's

Hey all, I am looking for a pair of sparky's for my FMF's. My Silenceres are form the aearly 90's so I am not sure if the Sparky's for the nw FMF Silencers are the same. Pleae let me know if you have a set. In the meantime I will call FMF to confirm Thanks Chris
  4. The paint wears off the springs because the shock wears are to tight. You want them to float on the shock. Plus when you buy shock wears make sure you tell who ever you are ordering them from that they are for AFTERMARKET shocks. They are not the same as regualr shock wears. Chris
  5. Sorry for not reading my PM in a timely manner. PM sent Chris
  6. The Reamer is tapered at a certain degree to accomodoate the pitch in the ball joint. You can use a drill press if you like but make sure it is at low speed. Since you will be reaming in increments to get the best fit a regular drill will work fine. Chris
  7. When I bought my LSR's years ago I had to ream out my spindles. The reamer I have is a # 2. Call Burgard see what reamer you need to use. If I recall, back then LSR used ball joints out of a Mazda truck. If the same number, Pm me your address and I will let you borrow it, but I would like it back asap since it costed me $70.00 Chris
  8. Try giving Gary at Quicksand a call. I ordered a pair about 1 month ago and am expecting them this week. Gary is a good guy and is reputable business owner. I paid $625 which included shipping and 4 brake line holders. Chris
  9. I go through these guys. They seem to have everything in stock. I am assuming you use 28FS? Also have them ship via postal service. If they ship UPS or Fed ex you will pay between $7 and $10 compared to .39 Fox Distributing, Inc. 504 East St. Charles Road Carol Stream, Illinois 60188 (708) 690-9700Chris
  10. I vote for the small blue flag like Benn suggested. It is a bit smaller and simple to identify. Chris
  11. I like BennBB's idea of having two flags. That way if there are special requirements in your area based on size and the shape of the flag you do not have to have several HQ flags made up. Plus if we have blue flags under the orange flags it would set us HQ'ers apart and would be really easy to spot each other. My eyes would go nuts if I had to look at every orange flag in the dunes trying to find you guys/gals Chris
  12. Having BHQ on a flag would make it easier for us to identify each other. Plus, since the shees are so fast how could anyone read the flag pole? Are there any specific dimensions or material that the flag needs to me made from? We have a few vinly shops here around town and I could get some prices.
  13. Hey guys, I am going to silverlake next month and need to get a flag. I would like to meet as many HQer's as possible while am out there an I thought if there was such a thing as an offical HQ flag it would be a good way to meet some of you. Is there an HQ flag?
  14. Typically the leak is coming from the seal that pushes into the case. Also, at this time there is another case similar to yours in this formu as we speak. Take a peak for additinal suggestions. Chris
  15. Thanks guys, I will have to try to binoculars trick. I did fix my problem and I am able to post pics. Thanks
  16. Thanks for your help. I actually went back into photo bucket and it was much quicker this time.
  17. Thanks eveyone for your input Chris
  18. I am in the process of tyring to post some photos onto photobucket. Due to the fact that the pictures are over 2 mb it is taking forever. Is there anyway I can zip or schrink the file size so I can post pics at a quicker pace? Thanks
  19. Thanks for the reply. I called Sierra Sands last week and they do not see a problem if I called a week or so in advance. However, I plan on calling in the next couple of weeks. At this point we are going either the week of the forth or the week after, depending on the wheather. I would rather go the forth but we will need to see since it is 700 miles to get there. The problem I am seeing is if I reserve the room for the week and change my plans I need to still pay for one night. Of course the other hotel I have to pay for every night if I don't make it. Chris
  20. Lee, The new look is awesome. Keep up the good work. Chris
  21. I agree with the 28's. I have been using them for years and they are awesome for low to mid range. You will pay a bit more for Keihn than Mikunis, and I preferably use Mikuni's since the last pair I bought last year costed my $180.00 new. Chris
  22. Thanks for the input. I will bring up these points up with the guy I am going with. At this point there are two of us going out there any I am meeting up with a couple members here from the HQ who I will be meeting with for the first time. We are going the week of juily 4th or the week after. Chris
  23. Per recomendations I spent some time on silverlakesandunes.com trying to determine where to stay during our trip to silverlake. I made some phone calls to get prices and it appears that at this point the options are either Sierra Sands or Silverlake Resort. For those of you who have visited which do you recommend? I would prefer a place with ample parking and in a more rural/safe envrionrment. Thanks in advance for your recomendations. Chris
  24. Happy Birthdayyyy!! Hey, you have the same birthday as my 06 shee!! Chris
