  1. For some reason...this came to mind: Monty Python and The Holy Grail - Scene 2 MORTICIAN: Bring out your dead! Bring out your dead! [clang] Bring out your dead! [clang] Bring out your dead! [clang] Bring out your dead! [clang] Bring out your dead! CUSTOMER: Here's one -- nine pence. DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead! MORTICIAN: What? CUSTOMER: Nothing -- here's your nine pence. DEAD PERSON: I'm not dead! MORTICIAN: Here -- he says he's not dead! CUSTOMER: Yes, he is. DEAD PERSON: I'm not! MORTICIAN: He isn't. CUSTOMER: Well, he will be soon, he's very ill. DEAD PERSON: I'm getting better! CUSTOMER: No, you're not -- you'll be stone dead in a moment. MORTICIAN: Oh, I can't take him like that -- it's against regulations. DEAD PERSON: I don't want to go in the cart! CUSTOMER: Oh, don't be such a baby. MORTICIAN: I can't take him... DEAD PERSON: I feel fine! CUSTOMER: Oh, do us a favor... MORTICIAN: I can't. CUSTOMER: Well, can you hang around a couple of minutes? He won't be long. MORTICIAN: Naaah, I got to go on to Robinson's -- they've lost nine today. CUSTOMER: Well, when is your next round? MORTICIAN: Thursday. DEAD PERSON: I think I'll go for a walk. CUSTOMER: You're not fooling anyone y'know. Look, isn't there something you can do? DEAD PERSON: I feel happy... I feel happy. [whop] CUSTOMER: Ah, thanks very much. MORTICIAN: Not at all. See you on Thursday. CUSTOMER: Right.
  2. Anyone else read that msnbc article? Now that I think about it more, the more this pisses me off: "...saw a man wearing a hooded sweat shirt walk up to the stage, followed by a bouncer and another club employee..." Now why the hell wasn't he stopped before he was able to get on the stage? That's bullshit, so much for security. Dunno about other places, but every place around here that has live music, has you empty your pockets, get metal-detected, and patted down before you can enter.
  3. Lee, can we 'sticky' this post!? Welcome to the HQ man.
  4. Mine guzzles gas, shee likes to drink in excess just like me. I re-fill my tank after each ride, doesn't take long at all...dunno mileage or anything, but I can't go too far without having to refuel.
  5. Right,...if you can, find an open place and open it up to get some good air passing through the radiator to help cool it a bit. I actual re-routed that overflow tupe so it leakes down behind the motor along with the carb drains so it woulnd't be hitting my pipes. Looks like Ducman got ya straitened out there...I've ran Castor927 since day one in my banshee at 40:1, still running stock pistons & rings on my '97. Last time I had my head off, everything still looked new.
  6. I hear that,...my old man used to race MX, and my banshee scared him; but he loved watching me ride. He got his hand ripped off & re-attached so he couldn't hold on with his left hand...when the powerband kicked in he lost grip, yanked the wheel...powerslid doing a 360, killed it...walked back & said, that's fucking insane; before I kill myself & tear your new quad up in the process, you better go get it. He could still out ride me on my dirtbike and no matter how hard I tried, for the life of me, couldn't figure out how he could wheelie that thing like he did. God I miss that fucker.
  7. Great to jam out on, good metal guitar.
  8. I'm at a loss of words. Here's a link: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6683479 Cannot fuckin' believe this! Very sad day indeed.
  9. The tank & rad cover blue as well?
  10. Hell yeah brother! I do actually have a logo I've been wanting to get printed, 3" tall x 7" wide, vinyl cut all black with a transparent/clear background. If you could get the hook up, I'd let you come to my house & fuck my sister. Here's a small .jpg of it...of course, I have it in the original Illustrator format.
  11. Right on! I actually play my own tunes. I'm a singer/songwriter. I'll play just about anywhere...play all over around here. With work & remodeling our house, I haven't been out playing much lately. I really don't play any Zeppelin myself, I listen to Zeppelin; don't even bother trying to learn their tunes. I do play Tangerine on occasion though. Playing your own music allows you to make mistakes that, in general, only you playing would notice. I have played in bands before, actually went through college playing in the jazz band. Right now I got a buddy who is a vocalist that wants to start a band & wants me to play guitar, and some other friends who got a band going are wanting me to play bass. I'll probably get with them & get something going in time, but right now, I don't have the time to spare. So until then & even when, I'll still be jamming the accoustic solo shizzle. If I can get in my friend's studio sometime I'm going to put some of my stuff on CD, mainly for promotional reasons & to get gigs.
  12. Right...most carriers will come with the tool, but I've seen people & even myself have used a screwdriver. If it's rusted in the housing it may be a bugger, try sticking a flathead in the gap & pry it open a little bit as you try & adjust the carrier. Hope that makes sense...
  13. You're fucking kidding us, right? Screw juice, get her some milk & tell her to gargle.
  14. Hell yeah. This post has already made my shitty ass morning, rock on! It's always good to hear from other fellow zepheads! Too bad you all aren't any closer, we could get together & jam. Been playing for about 10 years myself...you guitar players should check out Winfield, KS in September for our huge-ass bluegrass festival. It's a great time, to say the least. Check out: http://www.wvfest.com
  15. thnx tits! 290077[/snapback] tits is such a kiss ass 290096[/snapback] 'picked a good one to kiss! You guys trying to make up deuce's slack? haha
  16. I'm still running the stock caps from '97. I did unscrew the caps, clip the wires back about 1/2" & re-screwed them on to make sure they were getting a good connection once when troubleshooting and electrical headache. Never had/heard of any problems with stockers.
  17. No shit. If that's quoted from your dealer, take my advise & don't ever go there again. Yes yes, brainfarted that one right out my head.
  18. Correct. Leave your key off, screw in your tester like Ducman said, hold it at WOT & kick it over until the needle on the gauge stops climing. Then release the pressure & do it again, let it set about a minute & see if the compression holds. On my old shee that I got rid of...milled head .030 & 150lbs compression.
  19. Looks great! Like the color scheme & how the graphics blend everything in, pimp'n.
  20. Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin played a Fender Telecaster on Led Zeppelin I. He then started using a '59 Les Paul on Zeppelin II as well as a '58 Les Paul on Led Zeppelin III. He continued to use them throughout the rest of the zep albums and still uses them today. Also used an SG Custom dual neck... Jimmy's was 'Heritage Cherry' in color though. Gotta dig a good 'ol Les Paul...now their is one made for/after him... Looks just the same as his.
  21. You may have broke a finger off the clutch baskett...my stocker broke w fingers off after about 5hrs with a HD clutch. Like the others said...tip your quad up on it's side & pull the clutch cover off & take a look....if you tip it up on its side you won't lose all your oil.
  22. Dunno, you may check your local hardware store.
