  1. Right on man! Those are cool bikes & really are few around it seems anymore. Got any pics?
  2. Amen. Pretty damn funny though...
  3. Yeah...just soak your plates in your case oil while you're pulling out your old clutch & shit, I believe they suggest letting them soak at least like 30min.
  4. Do a search for a wiring diagram. One thing I'd suggest checking is your cdi connection/connector. When I was rebuilding my banshee in that connector, one of the prongs had been bent a bit to where it wasn't going in the slot it was supposed to; thus no fire & everything else was tits. Finally was going to put in yet another stator, unhooked the connector & looked at it, saw the bent prong & straitened it out, kicked the bitch twice & shee's been good since. Just something to consider...worth checking anyway.
  5. Thought about getting a fullbore front piece? NM...IMS tank...
  6. Not sure, but it may cost as much to get them powdercoated as it would to polish them. Would be something to check into anyway...
  7. Dunno...maybe, will have to see what's up & if I got the money. If the weather's still this nice, I'll have to find a way!
  8. I'm always taking donations & tips...King's Cock by the Clock; have Vaseline, will Travel.
  9. I'd put money on it that it's your stator. Have you checked it? Your clymers has specs on checking it, but you're going to need an OHM meter. I've had to the T those exact problems...was pulling my frigg'n hair out trying to figure it out; when it happened to me I figured it wasn't the stator since I'd already put a new OEM stator in about 3-5hrs before shee went to shit. Well after hours of checking things & swapping out parts from my other banshee at the time, I said screw it & bought a RS stator on an adjustable plate & have had not 1 problem since. Just MHO... $125 well spent... http://www.rickystator.com/pages/Yamaha_Ba...ming_plate.html
  10. Welcome to our world. Got any pics? I got a pretty slick 01 EX...
  11. I just keep my throttle cable lubed & have never had any problems with stiffness. Do a search & you'll find some info about cutting down the spring on the stock throttle to help ease tension...or there's those thumb-saver doohickies like in RMatv & JamesLucky catalogs...
  12. Check out this link, oughta help you out... http://www.mccannas.com/pshop/photosh0.htm
  13. I've always ran Castor927 @ 40:1 with 91-93 oct.
  14. Never met a person who it didn't! Always willing to share... Hell yeah, gotta love crown & coke! Too damn expensive though. Good question...anyone got dates?
  15. Looks damn good, nice job man!
  16. Could possibly be the shift shaft, did it ever bind up in 2 gears or anything like that? shift forks bent? How's your clutch & clutch basket look?
  17. You could also shoot a PM to BdBanshee...
  18. My thoughts exactly.
  19. Well you may very well benefit from LRD pipes, they are great pipes & are adjustable. I imagine they would work well with a single carb & since you TT & MX some, the adjustability would be a plus.
  20. Haha Now I'd pay money to watch that!
  21. I hear ya...that's the only reason I'm still working where I am, eventhough they switched our insurance to some company that's a joke when it comes to covering anything. Even after I have my own business I want to be able to keep a decent job on the site to keep the insurance & benefits....that shit is expensive.
  22. I just said screw it & used my Xmas gift from work to pay for it, got a whopping $10 left now to blow... But owell, I'm only on here when I'm at work...so technically they pay for me to be here & just paid for my premium membership. $40 after coming up on 6years at this joint is a joke anyway...but better than a damn blanket or coat like the past years I guess.
