  1. Sounds good, will keep my eye open for the post. My g/f's little brother got those sandstars for his blaster, they look good & he likes how they perform.
  2. No shit man! Please STOP YELLING!
  3. That's a shitty deal,...I agree that shouldn't have happened. I know they mount them there before they sell them. I had one that leaked on the bead a bit at first, but once the solvent was dried up around the bead it's been fine since. I can't remember if mine came with valve stems or not. But still, for the price; they're a good deal.
  4. Cheap & work great, less than $170. Sand King's "turbo paddle". Only come in a n 8 paddle option though, on 8" or 10" wheels. I've had no problems with them at all. Got them from: http://www.jimssandtoys.com
  5. Me 2! That's the plan anyway...unless my shit's all torn apart & off getting powder coated. If not I'll be there with my rail, banshee, & 400ex. I'll post when I am 100% sure.
  6. I'm going to get these symbols across my back, same size...but cleaner & probably in a different order.
  7. If they're setup correctly, yes. In stock form, no. Mine's setup for MX,...feel free to checkout my site for the mods & pics. http://www.angelfire.com/extreme4/ledofthezep
  8. Exactly what I was thinking! My theory is she can have 99% of the house to her own liking, I just want 1 room for myself, computer, shee motor disections, etc...and the garage, she can have the rest. Congrats on the new pad man! Looks like a real nice place, and it also looks like you don't have neighbors real close either. I can't see how people can live with their neighbors within fart-smelling distance.
  9. No joke....check out this thread---"Ozzy Was On A Banshee! (Pages 1 2 3 ) "
  10. Just get you a 100hp power band.
  11. I most definately agree. To hell with media, to hell with TV for the most part in general; I'd rather being jam'n to some Zep than watching the damn tube anyways.
  12. Sorry dude....about 14 posts too late. Look down on this section of the forum just a tad.
  13. Lucky to have a dad like you,...my dad wouldn't let me bang on his toys! Here's my 2yr old nephew 'werkin' a few months back. I'm now fixing up my 1st atv for him...'86 Honda trx125
  14. Right on boonman! I know that I want to quit & may wind up trying something along the lines of your approach. I need too that's for sure, I've kicked around the idea of stopping & then taking that 12-15 bucks a week and putting it into my own 'banshee fund', I'd have one pimp ass ride if I could do it. Thanks for the tip though. Just one more pack & I'm done... How many times have ya heard that one before... I can't even count how many times I've told myself that.
  15. Smart man. I've layed off the wacky stuff, every once in a while I'll take part, but also I don't have to worry about piss tests & getting busted with it on me or with paraphenalia, soo... but I most definately kick myself every single damn day in the ass for every starting to smoke cigarretts. Biggest waste of money known to mankind if you ask me. Hell, I don't even like the smell of smoke, can't stand the smell on my clothes; it's just gross, but yet I can't break myself of the habbit. I know it's all mental, but it's not as easy to quit as it seems. I'm sure others here know exactly where I'm coming from.
  16. Thanks for the reply man, I greatly appreciate your input. Sounds like I'm doin' the right thing going with a new one from RS. I'll probably just order one from them & be sure to let them know the bansheeHQ.com folks sent me there. I know exactly what you're talking about. Mine acutally does have the rubber grommet seal & when I installed the new OEM stator I put some clear gasket sealer to assure a good seal. The flywheel/stator is crystal clean, I'd eat off the inside of the case there it's soo clean. No rust/moisture at all. My g/f's dad has rebuilt several banshee motors & said mine's by far the cleanest he's ever seen in there. I was glad to hear that anyway. But I can tell you I'll never buy another OEM stator to save the life of me!
  17. Salt water....forgot to add that. That'll definately help ya heal quicker for sure. As far as smoking....I had no problems, just can't 'suck' very hard on anything. I smoked bowl after bowl after bowl after bowl....just get ya a fresh screen & you won't have to drag it hard to get a hit at all.
  18. It ain't so bad. Granted, it does suck...but I'd say it's better than a kick in the face with a gold shoe. Just chill after you get it done, stay on top of your pain pills & just be careful to not tear your stitches. Dry sockets suck worse than anything I've ever been through. You'll be fine. Hell, I still have probably more than half the pain pills they perscribed me & I ate hamburger helper the for dinner that night. What really sucks though, the damn dentist didn't get all of one of the lowes,...so now I have to go back in & get the rest of what he didn't get the first time yanked out.
  19. They got a website?
  20. Hey all, I'm in the market for a new stator. I've troubleshooted my shee's backfiring & spitting problems at WOT & have pretty much narrrowed it down to the stator....adjusting the pickup coil does nothing, further making me believe the stator is shit. I've already replaced the stator($300 OEM), worked great for a couple years. The stock stator just died one day out of the blue & shee didn't start again until I put a new OEM stator in it. My question(s): Should I just get a stock used stator for cheap? I'm thinking of just getting a new stock wattage one from Ricky Stator,...not much more than what I could get a used one for. What would you all suggest? Any other brands that I could/should use over the Ricky Stator's? Should I go directly through RS if I get one of their stators or does anyone know where I can get a deal? THNX in advance.
  21. LMFAO! I don't mind, I know I'm faster than a lot of the other punk ass's! I'll be 21 in April, it's about damn time! I know that if I want to accomplish a lot in the racing scene I need to get started. I also know that I'll never have the time or money to go pro...but that's still every newbie to racing's dream. May not be pro, but I'll sure race like I think I am! I'm not too fond of how they split the classes up; I don't see 30 as being a 'vet'...just doesn't sound right to me, hell...that means in less than 10 years I'll be racing the vet class. Weird to say the least. But I bet with the sport becoming more & more popular, they're is bound to be some changes I would think.? On that note....brings something to mind that my dad used to ask people all the time.... 'Know what an old lady's panties smell like?.....Depends. And I dunno about HoverRound, I'm more of a Rascal fan myself. They need to startup a Nursing Home circuit & have the old fougie's race their scooters. Get'm in full race gear, unique nascar-like paint schemes on the scooters, national anthem before the races, etc. Would be funny as shit & they could divide it into classes, have a modified class, etc... Just a thought. L8R!
  22. I too wouldn't mind having one & even pondered trading my shit off for a hopped-up one MX ready. But declined. Now I do have a pretty nice 01 400EX...
  23. What I was thinking, I've seen that problem & cure myself. With any 4choke, I've always been sure to change the plug & clean the filter after break-in AND check the valves.
  24. Didn't know that, good info. That's what I'm thinking of doing,...but what about my Chrome pegs!?!
