  1. Now that’s better than just silver lol. Should I do swingarm and hubs that too or just frame? I’m not good at really visualizing color schemes haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Trying to stay away from stock color lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. So just got my 99 Banshee running today. The plan was to see if the engine was all good and then take pictures of the way I had it setup and rip it back apart to paint the frame, swinger, etc. what do you guys think would be a good color scheme? I like the graphics on my plastics currently so was planning on keeping those. Rims are going back to gold. This is what shee looks like Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. ‘Twas a joke. Mainly because you and 97screamer were bickering. And I am listening and truly appreciate everyone’s advice. I’ll save up and buy a good used set or buy new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Alright. Then people are stupid for buying this then Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I thought that a stock head with no pitting goes for around 100 and a bottom case 80. But you know more than I do. Idk why everyone’s being so hostile. Eat a snickers. Just looking for some opinions on what others would do in the same situation. And now I know. Thanks [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ok. My aarms aren’t stock though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. So yay or nay? Would you guys make the deal? I just figured they might increase the price of my bike plus had those parts lying around anyway. They’ll also look better with my aarms. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So I got someone that says there willing to trade these works shocks for a bottom case and head I have lying around, and my stock shocks. Supposedly they’re good, but any way to tell how old they are or how to check if they need to be rebuilt? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Crank bearing or rod bearings maybe. If it’s blowing white smoke that’s means it’s burning the gear oil. I bet it’s smoked crank bearings.
  11. Blasters are easy=no powervalves
  12. Alright. I appreciate it man. I’m going to have to think on it more. Funds are low atm and my build has a way to go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Really was only hoping to spend around $40. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Not looking to spend much. If your local I can trade you a banshee head. One dome has pitting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I thought that using starting fluid in a 2 stroke was not good to do since lack of lubrication to bearings? Definitely check jetting, it may not be that but it’s good to know what’s in there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Seen in picture 2. I’ll have to take them apart and check Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. All the threads are good for both cases. That little pry mark won’t affect anything will it? Is there anyway I can swap the clutch arm needle bearings? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Ok so I’m in a bit of a dilemma. I have 2 sets of cases one is good without chain wack and the other is not. The one that is without chain damage has rusty studs, a small pry mark (not sure if that’s major), and the bushings that mount it seem a little worn. The one without chainwack looks polished with clean studs and nice looking mounts. Which set of cases would you guys use?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. How much for your trans?
  20. *Update* have a bottom case half and crank thanks to Robboy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks but don’t want a 4 mill. Out of my price range.
  22. How much for cool head, shocks, a arms?
  23. Possibly looking to buy a banshee motor, doesn’t matter if it’s blown up or not. Thanks, pm me or reply below
  24. I’ve seen a lot of banshees for sale for cheap in Albany/ Schenectady area. I don’t know how close you are. I always just use craigslist or Facebook marketplace. Also as I’ve found with my new banshee get one with a bottom end. If it’s missing a top end it’s a lot cheaper and easier to find [emoji1].
  25. Run for the hills!! Usually you should stay away from aftermarket cylinders and especially unbranded pistons. Look for the kits that are oem cylinders that have been bored and honed with wiseco pistons. I’ve seen some for around $300. Or just get your own cylinders done.
