  3. On the top and bottom of both reed blocks. Not sure if between boot and block or block and cylinder. It also has a ton of little bubbles coming around some of the holes that the mounting bolts go in. I wasn’t shy with gasket maker either. Shit still leaks though 😡

  7. So I leak tested it again. It dropped 1 psi after 3 1/2 mins and after 6min it had around 4 1/4psi. I started with 6psi. So it failed the test right? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. What do you pump it to? I set mine around 8psi. My other motor I set at 9.5psi and it held without dropping for over a day. I’ve cleaned everything with gas and brake cleaner before putting yamabond 4 on all gasket surfaces. I even tried using rtv ultra black on one side just to see if that would make a difference.   10. I torque it in a criss cross pattern. Building up on torque until I reach the spec. Maybe they aren’t flat, but I figured the gasket maker would solve that issue Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Couple days. Put it on there, torque everything then a couple days later once I get to it I’ll pressure test it. Leaks every time from intakes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. So I’ve leak down tested my motor at least 3 times now. Every time it’s leaking through the bottom and tops of the intakes. I have vforce delta reeds and have been using new reed gaskets every time. Also been putting a coating of Yamabond on all surfaces to help seal it. Still leaks losing 1 psi after about 30seconds. Anyone else have issues with these reeds? Stocks didn’t give me a problem. Thx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Chinese carbs?? You said they were new, but are they Mikuni?
  16. Put a meter on your stator and make sure it’s with spec. Then move on to another part like grounds, kill switch, coil
  17. This guy said it[emoji1375]. Had my fair share of wiring troubles too. Get a wiring diagram and break it into sections. Start at stator first and work your way out. Best of luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Running ams oil interceptor and for transmission Rotella T. Of course I pick the oils that are all the same colors. So you think theyre just casting flaws? Not leaking cracks?   20. Thanks for that diagram. Couple questions though. The black wire coming off the stator doesn’t go anywhere? I thought it has to get grounded. Why is there only one wire for kill switch. My tether has 2 wires coming off it. Could you explain the grounding? Red/black and black from gray plug get spliced into negative wire that goes to coil or? Thanks!   21. Ok so I’m trying to make my own harness. I have a stator, cdi, ignition coil, and tether that I’m trying to wire up. I’m planning on relocating the cdi behind the gas tank so that the stator can plug directly in. I have a wiring diagram just a little hard to figure out all the grounds. I know the the orange wire from coil goes into cdi along with black and black/white for tether/kill switch. I’m not sure where the black from stator and black from coil go.
