  1. I rode the quad for hours today at my cousins farm which is wide open land so I was getting on it pretty hard. the bike runs great very fast I just need to workout the clutch issue. the vibration was there for sure but like I said it got ridden hard for hours if my crank was going bad wouldnt have gone bad by now with how many times I've went riding with it? 2. what's linseed oil and what does it do? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  3. I just fired her up it seems smooth at idle if you go quarter throttle it vibrates then if you rev it high it smoothes out. I can't tell if it's normal or not Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  4. that's pretty much what I'm going to do Friday lol. if I brake anything g I'll fix it later Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  5. yeah I need to fix it i need a new basket and hopefully not a new pressure plate Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  6. and the bolt isn't anywhere in the case. I see that the bolt has snapped due to someone over torqued it during a clutch Install Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  7. when one put the top end on maybe 3 hours of riding went by since then. the rod bearing seemed fine to me there wasn't any play Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  8. I guess I should start with the basics and check the motor mounts better. what's the best way to check them? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  9. could the clutch be an issue Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  10. I didn't check them that we'll no. I'm taking it riding Friday and just hoping my crank isn't our of phase. besides vibration is there any symptoms of a crank going bad? it's not really bad vibration like shaking the handle bars bad but if you look at the motor you can see the top end shaking when the rpms fall Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  11. could my clutch be the issue? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  12. well the top end is what's vibrating but I don't think it's pinging. if anything it's running on the richer side Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  13. you think the crank is spinning out of phase Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  14. my banshee motor seems to have vibration. when it idles it's fine and in powerband or whenever your riding in any rpm it seems completely fine but if it's idling and you give it just a little bit of gas it vibrates when the rpms fall then smooth again at idle. it's not really bad like where the whole quad is shaking but the motor vibrates a decent bit. the top end was just done but I haven't checked under the stator cover to see if that's tight. I did however pull the clutch cover gasket off to replace it and notice that one of the screws that hold the pressure plate down is missing but didn't think anything of it this could be an issue can't it? the motor runs strong and pulls very very hard and starts first kick everytime even cold and idles smooth. the motor mounts are good that motor isn't going anywhere. so what's up with it? is a little vibration normal? is that missing pressure plate bolt a potential cause? or can my crank be our of phase? the motor runs awsome besides that. lmk what you guys think. thanks Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  15. I dont think any of the seals could be my issue because there all brand new although it's still a possibility. I think I'll start by throwing a set of new plugs in and then switching the wires to see if that changes anything Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  16. well everything is together right now and I don't have pictures of the reeds but I held them both up to a light and 1 didn't let any light through at all and the other one did so I'm assuming that one needs replacing. would worn reeds cause this issue? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  17. 1 was perfect the other looked like there was some space the pedals were a bit worn Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  18. I haven't done either but the slides are dead even Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  19. so the right pipe on my banshee gets hotter then the left one. not much hotter but just enough to tell that it's definitely a little hotter. the quad has a fresh rebuild with only a few hours on the top end and the carb slides move up and down evenly. they both smoke about evenly but I think the left side might actually smoke a little more. my plugs look to be burning evenly also. could it be the right side is getting a little less fuel? also when I was putting the bike back together I saw that the vf4 reeds it had on it on one of then was completely closed and tbe other had a very small gap between the pedals I'm sure that can be the issue too? I don't remember what side had the open pedals though. the bike idles well and runs strongs. starts 1st or 2nd kick cold every time. thanks for any replies that's how the plugs look. right plug is right cylinder left is from left cylinder Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  20. na honestly I only put about an hour worth or break in time on it I'm not too concerned about the top end on this lasting that long bc I'm going to do a serious build when I have the money and time so they have decently hard riding on them. I'd say rich but good enough it's safe Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  21. got about 2 Hours on my top end now and checking the plugs... how's that look? I'd say a tiny bit rich but looks perfectly safe and shouldn't be messed with Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  22. what kind of pistons are you running and how long have they been in there? is it riding any differently loss of power or anything? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  23. these are the pistons that came out of the shee. are they oem stock cast pistons? as you can see they were shot Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  24. I had an 07 yfz I just got rid of that had a full exhaust intake and jet work and the banshee would always win in a straight line Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
  25. that's about 30 40 minutes away. do you know of any places I can dyno an atv? Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
